Arab Coalition Announces Launch of Operation to Liberate Yemen from Houthis

Bro, they've done well in Syria, Iraq and have a hold of Lebanon by the balls, they've done far more with less than the Arabs as a whole.

Not really bro, Syria was going to fall to rebels if not for Russian intervention. Half of Iraq was held by ISIS until US coalition intervention. Anyhow, if Houthis come under more pressure, Iran is going to activate Iraqi militias against Saudis. And it may eventually develop into another Gulf war. Iran is insistent on destabilizing the gulf region instead of giving these weapons to Palestinians and directing campaign against Israel. If Palestinians had these cruise missiles and drones Israel would be living it's last moments. Iran is playing long term game to assume control over resources and wealth of region. And it get massive power. It hasn't paid off yet from financial perspective but it's same agenda as China, US or others have. Power and wealth, oppressing population while enjoying Haram pleasures.
Are the Arabs finally gonna do a large-scale ground invasion?

If no, then this...whatever it is, is going to fail.

If yes, they'll probably succeed, but should be in it for the long haul, because then they'll face an insurgency.

If they do, I see Iran opening front from Iraq. But I don't see this deescalating. Iraqis will hate that , it would start civil war in Iraq and trigger more intense sectarian war in region. What's happening is evil stuff without a just endgame.

If they are lazy why not try to open war with them on the Hormuz and see how it goes against them
because its stupid to start a war because your opponent is lazy. logic!
o-yeah that is right you will never do this because you don't fancy your chances.
YOu talking about Saudis chances on Yemen now? thats what this sounds like to me - Iran doesnt get into conflicts it already knows it will lose from the get go.
It would be a humbling experience like the Sassinds experienced who lost everything as consequence before with these exact same people
is this what you say to hide your sectarianist views?
How many civilian casualties?
he will play dumb to this question or not answer it seriously.

Are you kidding me this is not even logistically possible Iraq will be rolled over within a month only by Egypt forget the others and gain the oil fields hence they will never come to assist them as it will be miscalculation they aren't willing to sacrifice Iraq which is technically out of their sphere now sadr is sidelined and so are their militias... Iraq is hell'va weak and can be rolled over rather easily and it is also a flat terrain and quick one way ticket.. Also if Iraq is taken it would bring them right at their door steps... But technically they have no influence over the government just militias as they were sidelined

alright everybody, hide your kids, hide your wife, cause the saudis area REALLY mad this time .

the other 324151 times where they announced a "decisisve operation to end the houthis" were mere warmup... this ones the real deal...

I said this before and i will say it again.

If the sauds had balls between their legs, they would have invaded northern yemen with 10 divisions and tried to erase the Houthis off the face of the earth.

Their coward soldiers run away at the shadow of a houthi, so they have to beg the entire earth over for mercenaries, and american planes to bomb with... 7 years of this with no result, but the 52626263 time is definitly the charm.....

Not a single saudi rat soldier stepping foot on yemeni lands will leave alive. Period. the sauds have already demolished all the border villages to avoid more humuliating pictures of captured bases, with houthis in the officers office under the picture of their rat "king" yelling "allah akbar, death to american, death to Israel, Curse to the jews, Islam is always victorious"

If only hallucinations counted for something.. Saudis never set foot in Yemen which means the Houthis got fuked by locals mainly the giants brigade try to yell victory at them and see where it goes... Everyone has a delulu fantasy until they get punched in the face

Arabs cant win wars. it is known.

If arabs couldn't win wars then there wouldn't have been 22 arabic speaking countries besides and conqering another 80 countries´on top of that stuff like that comes from ability and sheer character strength something pakistanis don't have lets give credit where it is due coming from another pakistani..

Also the saudis will neutralize these terrorist elements kick back and watch death by thousands cut painful and slow :coffee: these terrorist have landed in the wrong hole

its funny you're arguing for Arabs and saying they can win wars, MEANWHILE, your country essentially provides military manpower to them for critical military scenarios and situations, so that alone just disproves your point- pay mind to what serves your interest man.

There is only way to find out not sure your willing to undertake it but thanks either way

Pretty much most of us agree that Ukraine cannot win a war against Russia, right... If you enumerate the reasons, you can spot similarities to the Houthi's struggle. Very little of what I've mentioned is about military capability. It's mostly about geography and geopolitics. Ukraine is a edge state (even its name mean in Russian is about this) and collides with the dominant power in the region, while the interruption of overseas US logistics creates a vulnerability that can take its breath away.

There is no such thing as the bigger is winner all the time. Smaller one's chance of winning is high in some cases. Population-ideological unity-logistical capabilities and a compact power sufficient to send fewer resources to fewer destinations can defeat a larger power. However, geography and conditions may only promise a status-quo that will last for years at best, away from a definitive Houthi victory, which will lead to the complete destruction of Yemen. The problem is that Yemen does not have this kind of homogeneity within its territory. And just like Ukraine, it suffers from the disadvantages of being on edge and a border state with the dominant party in the geography. In short, the situation here is very different from the US invasion of Vietnam, or from the invasions attempted by power projection, which we can give dozens of other examples in history.
