LCA Tejas Reveals More Indigenous Features !

Yes you're right sir, may be they mix 2 designs, i agree with you sir
What a great find. 😂 Usual windy jamming BS. This is not Chinese car designing to copy a design. Not only that, the fanboys will actually believe this, swallow this whole thing and spit it elsewhere, only to be embarrassed.

Just because something looks similar it doesn't mean it's copied. First thing off the bat, every Delta wing design will look similar and falls under any of these design characteristics.

They may look similar but they are fundamentally different in all aspects. Given his understanding of designs is by "looks" and feels, not sure how to get this across. Take Viggens fuselage for example as you can see from the images he posted, Viggen does not have an elongated tail cone which is seen in Tejas this increases drag in jets like Tejas.

Viggen is a revolutionary design, unlike Tejas it is an aerodynamically stable aircraft. If I'm not wrong it is the first Delta wing with canards. Back in the day Delta wing aircrafts weren't popular as it is today, due to their inherent issues with maneuvering (for a fighter jet) as it requires complex techniques involving pilot inputs. This issue was solved after the introduction of FBW systems. Canards in modern Delta wing does not generate lift, but in Viggens case the canards are designed specifically such that it generates lift, this causes a downwash at the wings right behind those canards. This resulted in a downforce at the wing and to cancel this out and get maximum lift from the wing they added a wing twist and redesigned the aerofoil in that way.
In Tejas however the weird sweep you see is required due to its small size of the wings in comparison to other Delta wings, the vortices generated behind the wing without the sweep would move forward and thereby pushing the aerodynamic center forward. I can't add gif or links for some weird reason, you may look for gifs showing vortices behind the wing I'll add an image tho and it's position is exactly where Tejas added that special sweep.

I wonder why windy didn't post the front view which would've cleared the air if it's actually copied. This is Viggen.

Tejas, does the aerofoil in anyway look similar to that of Viggen. See how the leading edge is lifted.

We designed, redesigned and tested this in our own labs we made improvements corrected design flaws of MK1 and introduced new designs mk1a, mk2 which will fly in the coming years while windy can keep making threads about "looks" of jet when all you do is the paint jobs and tightening screws in assembly line. Time to reflect on oneself

I would like to only say to you THANKS TO WEST TO DESIGN AND DEVELOP YOUR INDIGENOUS 😂😂 MAHAN/ VEDIC TEJAS 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

India designed, redesigned and tested it in its own labs and made improvements corrected design flaws of MK1 and introduced new designs mk1a, mk2 which will fly in the coming years.

But to what end?

A borderline operational aircraft, with hardly a squadron after more than 30 years of R&D, still in development.

Just read your own post again and try to understand how stupid you sound.

SAAB J-37 Viggen ........... lca Tejas
View attachment 774057

Cut back the rear section of the Swedish SAAB J-37 Viggen and add the Frontal of Mirage-2000 and you have the INDIGENIOUS LCA Tejas in all it's glory.

Bro check these out... I always thought it was influenced by the f-16 xl... i saw an early prototype of tejas with similar lay out but i couldn't find the pic

No canard. It can never have high angle of attack compare to canard fighter like J-10 , Rafale , Gripen and Typhoon.

You cannot defy the rules of physics.

Atleast some technical items are there in our Vedas... Pls enlighten us what is there in quran...
Yeah yeah like your minister and politicians claiming India invented internet, cell phone 📱 in ancient Vedic era 😂😂😂

Oh I forget you built VENAMAS (UFO) 7000 years ago in your Vedic civilization so why you guys building fighter jet which is crap for ancient Vedic time go guys develop VENAMAS BECAUSE YOU'RE HYPER POWER OF THE UNIVERSE 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

No shit sherlock. That's why only 100 odd jets are designed and build, it is not comparable to Typhoon, Rafael or Gripen because Tejas only need to fill the gap of the Bisons until Tejas MK2 arrives.

You should thanks for the West for designing ànd developing Tejas for you

Chatrapati maharaj.... Avapanavayu guy I.e windy is trolling... Anyway nice read... Instead of replying in troll thread you could have posted in Tejas LCA thread...
It's just for some fun the possibilities of a serious discussion in PDF is next to none before either botfarm trolls or mu mu JF17 fanboys hijack it.
