ISI, Rangers Officials To Be Removed From Post on KHI Incident: ISPR

Overzealous my foot.

In any country with rule of law, criminal proceedings would be had against the perpetrators and their commanding officers (right to the top), getting sacked should be the least of their troubles.

You folks have graduated from kidnapping journalists and other civilians, to now senior police officers. Goon and mafia behaviour needs to stop and those involved need to be held accountable.

Actually it won't go down well for PMLN since they are not liking a bit of coziness in-between Bajwa and Bilawal.

I think Bajwa intervention and making a phone call to Bilawal has turned out to be a masterstroke in isolating PMLN completely. After Bilawal BBC interview, PDM future already looked bleak. Diesel anger/frustration over the question asked by a reporter after PDM meeting on Nov 08 said it all.

Well I guess their were only 2 who acted in anguish at the desecration of Quaid's Tomb (which is justified).
I like how they pointed out the police action to be wanting and slow, if police had done their duty on such a regrettable event, could have avoided the whole scenario. :)

And what is the punishment for political interference in police matters, and stopping due process of law in any other country? :D

Political interference is jaiz and army interference is not. Hahaha :D

Kindly recheck you have wrongly quoted my name ..this comment is not mine ...of which u have replied

now wait and watch, Billu rani will welcome the investigation and will thank COAS for his quick response where as PMLN will shout in media for "sakht saaza nahi di and bla bla bla"
Had COAS not done anything, it would had favored PMLN to keep an anti army narrative in media and would had not neutralize PPP as a threat in PDM. PTI smartly played low and let COAS handled the situation himself. PPP has also been provided with a free field in GB upcoming elections.

Sir why do you always have a different criterion for politicians and army.
Please enlighten us also what is the punishment for politicians for political interference in police. KILLING JOURNALISTS, desecrating national sites etc.
And why don't you ask for the same punishment for CM to Ministers in model town case?

But what about the culprits in the army Rangers and ISI? Shouldn't they be punished?

When was the last time a politician forced a serving senior officer or general to be kidnapped and made to act at their personal whim?

The army operates under the government, it has no right to kidnap or arrest anyone, it cannot violate the constitution, its officers swear an oath, their oaths are not to their commanding officer or to the chief, their oaths are to the constitution.

Anyone who commits an illegal or unconstitutional act, army or civilian should be held accountable. But external accountability of the former is a laughable idea in Pakistan.

The only reason this piecemeal action was had is because Sindh Police made a well organised response threatening resignations and applying for leave, in order to bury this at the peak of the story, they acted fast. PPP will rollover like always, PML can say what they like but it’s nothing new, the real reason why chief took notice was because of the outrage within Sindh police itself and the media storm.

This is not enough. The highest officer of police in a province was abducted. Names or at least numbers of the officials should have been mentioned.
There is no such need at all. Names of official agencies are not disclosed.

Sind Police is OK with Safdar Awan / Maryam MUJRA going on Mazar E Qaid ? Where was SIND POLICE WELL ORGANIZED RESPONSE at that time ?

politicians do more bad things Sir. They kill their own people, civilians. Who ordered killings of PAT workers through police Sir. daily tens of people do get kidnapped by these powerful politicians especially in rural areas but no one talks about it. If one start counting the atrocities these politicians workers/leaders/MNAs/councilors/powerful people within these parties commits on daily basis than you will indeed consider army men as angels.

Haram munh laga hoa ha bhai.. Yeh adat ahista ahista he choty hi boys ki..

If Sindh police had done its job, the way it was meant, others wouldn't need to do it for them, but since Bhutto abbi Zinda ha that is why sub Harami akhata hua hain. Allah bless these chaps who knew that they would be targeted and proceedings would be initiated against them, yet took a firm stand on the discretion of Quaid-e-Azam tomb.

Your personal feelings don’t matter in this story, it’s of no use here.

If those military personnel ordered or perpetrated the kidnapping of senior police officer, it’s a gross violation of the law, a grotesque violation of their constitutional limits and purview. And it even violates those members of the armed forces’ own oaths.
