The new round HUD visible in JF-17 Block III model is identical to this as tweeted by this Chinese friend.

Is this hud Chinese or pac had joint venture with Singapore [emoji1215] technologies for smart Hdd which would replace Chinese version

There are also now 3/4th hen smart hud technologies in play

Whats the question? its quite unclear

I was hoping the tail would look more like the one found on the JF17B.

I was hoping the tail would look more like the one found on the JF17B.

Why---?

Guys this is the first prototype

many changes will happen

Anyone remember the very ugly IFR on the test block I ?

they made it better in the operational units

my point is this is not the final configuration

Cuz it looks modren.
Guys block B has backward swept tail to address the changed center of gravity due to change in weight distribution. It was not for beauty

Yes it does look cool, but now that I think of it, and people have said it before this aircraft will not have big changes. If the current tail works well then why change it.
But still I wonder why PAF has decided to go with 2 different types of tail configurations instead of sticking to one found in earlier Block I and II aircrafts. Or just upgrading the Block III tail found on JF17B

Can the MAWs, noticed in the recent pic of a Block III (behind the air intakes and the verticle fin), be retrofitted to the earlies Blocks?
