Daleem yeah al Bakistanis call it daleem citing haleem to be a blasphemous name for a dish
 
I live here so I kind of know name of most local dishes
I was brought up abroad and my family has a habit of twisting names of things so I do get them wrong at times coz they are my source of Urdu...so I am very gullible when it comes to names of things :D

He is learning Urdu and don't knows a lot of words and prounication
 
I think it is a different dish....I remember an Emirati aunty was telling us they have daleem in UAE...but it is not their local and is Iraqi/ Irani dish or something

Haleem is a localized version of daleem which has its origin in the tale of Karbala according to some
