What people like EDL don't understand is in the 'good old days' much as they regardedd non whites as primitive animals they regarded their working class as trash and treated them as such. Hijab is very much part of Islam, and it is for both men and women.

Women are to cover their body excluding hands, face, small part of arms, and feet.

For men, it is navel to knee, although covering chest and back is a strong sunnah.

Quran is very descriptive of hijab. Niqab and Burka is from sunnah of the prophet saws wives. It is a strong hasanat if a woman does it, but is not required to.

Well, Arian was a believer in traditional Christianity meaning Jesus was fully human. That idea was popular in the ME at the time. After the Council of Nicea, all the followers of Arian were hunted down for their beliefs and killed.
