NO excuse i do NOT support such cartoons simple as that. Neither i support cartoons like Amir liaqat


Ban these cartoons and i will also write to PEMRA for that. I have NO confusion in mind about it.

When these kids grow up they can watch, talk and walk like hindu gods if they want i have NO Issue.

Firstly,epics created by a Greek,also contains reference to Greek Gods and Goddesses.But that does not tag them religious.It is considered to be Greek.
Similarly,the epics created by somebody who lived in Bharat,also historically known as India makes them Indian,not essentially Hindu...
Even,one of the epic contains the name of the country, Mahabharata.

Secondly,the Indian epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata are mythical tales of all kind of people.It portrays nobody as all-perfect,not even the Gods....Both the epics portray stories of war.But that does not mean that one has take a leaf out of it and be a war-monger.....

If anyone wants ban this cartoon's its right of their government to do so. Why we Indian should get into that.

Possibly cartoon doesn't do any harm but still there are characters who are hindu. I have watched almost all cartoons including that ganesha to Krishna but could not find anything offensive language. I suppose they use better language than we use all together.

And at last, it never changed my faith or religion, but surely it helped me to learn about Hinduism and its mythology stories.

These two statements do not go along side-by-side, do they? Why block the channel? Why block any source of knowledge?

As T-Faz said in one of the posts here, learning about "others ways" would make you much more mature and tolerant. Choosing and blocking any source of information/knowledge, which you do not believe in only shows the weakness of your faith.

Why block the channel or change it? Because parents have a right to control their childrens programming and if they feel a program is inappropriate then they have the right to not let their children view it.

However, the choice to view or not view should be left up to the individual, and not restricted by the government, unless there are certain geo-political or social considerations to take into account, such as the possibility of propaganda on Indian channels and the restrictions on Pakistani channels in India, or pornography, hate speech etc.

It has nothing to do with offensive or defensive or conversion to other religion. My point is WHY make cartoons on religious basis for the kids in the first place ????????????

Why you needed to force down religious teachings through cartoons on small kids ??


I would oppose even if they make cartoons with mullah characters thats not needed at this age.

for studying religion and religious texts they have institutions to be enrolled at a right time and for basics they have their parents to teach them.

Given that over 97% of Pakistani population is Muslim your country is going to remain Islamic for the next few thousand years at the very least. So chill out and concentrate on real issues rather than manufacturing them. As if watching cartoons is going to convince someone to give up their faith and convert.
