Turkey: After the S-400 wants to buy the Patriot air defence system

IMO 70% is a good hit to kill rate.
No old friend . There are various sources , they claim hit ratio between 60-70%.
I can only rely on the sources which are available.
What is your opinion ? Attacking missiles - Popeyes ? Interceptor - Kashtan system ?
I don't know.
Which air defense system was used?

These systems you mentioned has lower Hit to kill rate than the newer ones they have like S-400 or Panzir.

You are right. But Syria has no S-400 and Pantsir. I preferred to tend to the low system

Ok , now the news

Buk-M2 and Pantsir-S1 managed to down 3 missiles and 1 UAV during the Israeli raids yesterday.
2 missiles managed to break through Casualty 1 martyr.

The Fartriot , excuse me Patriot , does not always work as it was reported many times it as accuracy of 35%

could you provide a source for that claim please, it sounds interesting and I would love to read up on it.

Well in last 2 weeks along members have reported Patriot failed to intercept missile from Yamen

Found this article about the incident.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/04/pat...failed-in-saudi-ballistic-missile-attack.html

So it seems that Patriot system failed, but do we have any information about human error ?

I mean the patriot isn't an active system is it, deployed and ready to auto-engage 24/7 ?

We probably won't know because the KSA probably won't admit that the ppl manning the Patriot system was taking a piss break or something like that.

So far it did good job, ther is no 100% guarantee. People are stupid if they are judging because of one or several mis.

I hope Turkey will be able to deploy Aselsans Hisar in an area/country where it's possible to field test the systems. I know it's a big risk before it's fully developed, but what guarentee do we have that it works ?
