Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

Talking of 'highly incompetence', let me tell you a joke. The iranian army has scandalously lost thousands of personnel including, wait, here comes the best part, high ranking dudes/generals of the irgc (or whatever) :disagree:

Only 500 in five years. You have more soldiers killed by Kurdish fighters on sandals in one year.

Don't be mad that our generals are leading from the front while the only thing your incompetent generals are doing is planning coups and drink tea.

Thank Russia and the US for turning the tide and from saving your face, otherwise who knows how many more coffins full with iranian generals would have returned.

It was a joint Russian Iranian involvement and deployment. It was Iranian general Soleimani who convinced Putin to intervene, who then promised to commit Iranian troops on the ground. And that is when we saw success on the ground.

There were no Iranian soldiers in Palmyra. There were Afghan Hazara fighters but those poor men are mostly fighting for money and Iranian passports.

and still alot of Iranian are fleeing by the thousands. all the way to Australia..

Let Russia pull its air force, artillery and spiritual protection out of this "joint" operation and see how well you do.

Assad will never reconquer his country. He will be stuck in the west with a ravaged country and economy. Iraqi government is a joke. Even the KRG is more influential then them. This is no win for anyone. Both countries are deeply divided.

That has nothing to do with anything military related. Iran is safer than Turkey or even Europe, and that is due to competent Iranian intelligence and military forces.

Wrong when you lose blame it on the mercenaries haha

The main issue with the siege of Al Bab is that there are probably as much men attacking the city as defending. In the basic rules of a siege this is always a huge disadvantage of the attackers. If Turkey would commit one brigade of commandos or mechanised infantry, with assistance of the rebels, it would be a much quicker win. But Turkey tries to do it with a minimal amount of men. This probably because there is no political support for it in Turkey. If we actually send our own troops to do the direct fighting, this would have been a totally different game.

then whats the cause are they economic migrants, you don't see Turks runing away from their country even though we face alot of security challenges..

Iranians are just backward Shia version of Saudis. Their country is dirt poor, dispite all the rich resources they have.
Iranians are desperate to leave safe Iran for troubled unsafe Europe.
Iranians and logic don't mix very well.
Then again, they are just desert sand monkeys. LOL

You're aware that the Al-Bab operation has a lot of Turkish soldiers and that 14 have been killed today in Al-Bab?

Source @ wiki says 1000+ Iranian-lead killed (~500 Iranians), but still Iranian-lead. Incompetence.

Those rats on sandals are openly supported by the US and EU, both diplomatically and militarily (and so intelligence too), and you know that. These are top-notch terrorists. However losing that much troops and high ranking guys against some fractured and under-equipped fsa is pathetic and lousy from your side.

The coup failed because most generals are loyal and have a brain, unless some iranian generals think that it is still the medieval times to lead from the front, only to eat a rocket.

Iran delayed the execution.
Russia saved the day, you know this too.

450 killed in five years. Almost the same amount as Turkish soldiers has been killed in one year by Kurdish fighters, let alone now in Syria.

You must be mad that my Persian Gypsy army and government has outplayed your government in both Syria and Iraq.

I hate the government but your in a delusion lol. How did they exactly outplay us? Syria is supposedly your closest ally right? Now it's in ruins by how many factions. Iraq is your so called close ally after maliki and its in ruins. So end result is this.

Syria = İran ally in ruins
Iraq = Iran ally in ruins

= İran with weak allies. Now answer me gypsy. Would you like yourself to have weak or strong friends?
