Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

How can Isis allow a corridor between Turkey and GCC when both countries are fighting Isil and isil carried out terrorist attacks against both ?

Turkey did make a deal with Russia about Syria and once Trump officially becomes president there will be a deal on Iraq besides they are allied with Barzani who controls most of Northern Iraq .

You always negotiate with the Master of slaves , not slaves as in the case of failed governments of Syria and Iraq .

Cuz IS takeover created the possibility for superpowers (USA) to bypass Baghdad, (create Sunni state).

thats fine negotiate with whoever u want if it helps defeating terrorism. Also RIP for todays casualties in Turkey's stadium bombing

Now our country have lots of indigenous "Combat Proven" technologies...

Seriously you think savages in Isil would negotiate with Turkey and Gulf ?
Actually it was isil that destroyed the chance of creating Sunni region and mostly it was sunnis who were affected by isil through forced displacement and destruction of their cities as a result of isil entering them .

The people who think Turkey supports ISIS are only pushing this propaganda because they want to damage Turkey. No one with a logical mind would think that Turkey would support ISIS (A group that could never have any international recognition or legitimacy or any longterm stable position in Syria) against the FSA which enjoyed international recognition and support. Look at the reality on the ground, what wiped out the FSA was not really Russia or Assad directly, it was ISIL that attacked it from all over and diverted its force away from the government. If ISIS never emerged I think the Syrian war would have looked much different by now. Even when ISIS emerged Assad was running out of soldiers, the FSA and its backers (including Turkey) could have achieved victory. Turkey would have a had an internationally recognized government that it was friendly to. Why give that up for ISIL? Oh because Turkey used ISIL to takeout the "Kurds", FSA was already against the PYD and was going to take it out they just didn't get to that point yet in the war. So again PYD wold have been dealt with. They were small before ISIS started up.

Anyway we are on the ground in Syria and are working against a lot of people's interest, they can all go and you know what themselves.

F'ing deal with it b'tches, we didn't even get started yet.

Didn't say that IS would deal with Turkey and the Gulf, I said IS presented an opportunity to create a Sunni authority.

In 2014 and 2015 the US congress was proposing bills to bypass Baghdad to deal with the KRG directly and find a Sunni authority, this Sunni authority could've been set up with the help of Turkey and Saudi (such as Nujaifis and others).

If such plans were present then an Iraq Euphrates Shield would have been carried out in Mosul back in 2015 .

Turkey is satisfied with empowering Barzani and receiving cheap oil from KJR .

Iraq is going through self destruction and partition on its own , no one ends to do anything about it .

Empowering barzani is dumb this guy supports PKK as well. Supporting KRG as a whole is dumb krg should have never existed in the first place. anyways

After al bab we should go str8 to manbitch and afterwards cross the river.

maybe we should change to assist shia iraq to get back the pseudo kurdish state..

The thing is the Shia militas will move to Syria after Mosul and after ISIS is finished they will turn on the YPG. So yes in a way maybe we should ;)

The Shias would side with the ''Kurds'' against us,when the YPG sides with Assad, why not the KRG(some factions)with the Shias?

The YPG is with Assad who is with the Shias in Iraq,so how is that going to work?

Assad will not allow any autonomy in northern Syria. They are working together now, but do you believe that a post-war Assad would be fine with Kurds taking more then 4 times the land they actually inhabit?

Yes,as long as he has a corridor to Iran via Iraq.
He knows the US shifted its support from Turkiye to the YPG,he wouldnt want an indirect war with the US(some kind of deal will be made between the US/Russia/Iran/Iraq) and the YPG territory can act as a bufferzone against Turkiye.
''We'' are at fault here,we should have seen this coming, the nuclear deal with Iran was a sign.
There will be a Kurdistan on our Southern border(Northern Syria/Northern Iraq) ''protected'' by the US and there is nothing we can do about it,Assad/Iraq will be ok with it and so will Iran.
