اچانک کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ جیو کی ایک گاڑی ایک پولنگ سٹیشن کے قریب آکر رکتی ہے اور اس میں سے حامد میر چھلانگ لگا کر باہر نکلتاہے، اس کے ہاتھ میں ووٹوں سے بھرا ہوا ایک بیلٹ باکس ہے۔ وہ دوڑتا ہواپولنگ سٹیشن کے اندر داخل ہوتا ہے اور وہاں موجود بیلٹ باکس اٹھا کر اپنا بیلٹ باکس وہاں رکھ دیتا ہے، اصلی بیلٹ باکس وہ جیو کی گاڑی میں رکھتا ہے اور وہاں سے رفو چکر ہوجاتا ہے۔ میں جلدی سے پولنگ سٹیشن میں جا کر اس کے رکھے ہوئے بیلٹ باکس کو کھول کر دیکھتا ہوں تو دنگ رہا جاتا ہوں کہ اس میں تمام ووٹوں پر شیر پر مہریں لگی ہوئی تھیں۔ میں جلدی سے وہاں سے نکلتا ہوں اور اگلے پولنگ سٹیشن کی طرف چل پڑتا ہوں، ابھی میں کافی دور ہی تھا کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ جیو کی گاڑی میں کامران خان پولنگ سٹیشن سے باہر نکل کر جارہا ہے ، مجھے گڑبڑکا احساس ہوا او ر میں دوڑ کر پولنگ سٹیشن پہنچا، وہاں بیلٹ باکس کھولا تو اس میں بھی تمام شیر کی مہروں والے ووٹ پڑے ہوئے تھے۔

Imran is confused in politics. He doesn't know how and when to play his cards. His actions are denting his popularity (at least in Karachi) my friends who were hardcore PTI fans a year ago are not exploring alternatives. This is a dangerous trend. Imran desperately needs some good advisers or else PTI will become a niche party.

Election rigging is the most pressing issue as we speak of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as all other serious issues like jobs security terrorism and long-term prosperity of the province has been taken care of.

Honourable Sir,

You may be surprised to know that in my personal opinion, except for his inexplicable love for the Taliban, I consider Imran Khan a far better person than most of the crop of present day political leaders; primarily because Imran khan is not corrupt.

However, this doesn’t mean that he has no character weaknesses. If you have been following Pakistan’s political scene for the last 5 years, you would have noticed that Geo Group in general and Hamid Mir in particular have been strongly pro PTI & Imran Khan in their coverage. Imran Khan himself was also strong ex CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry supporter. Since his appeal against some seats during the 2012 election were rejected; Imran’s’ outburst against the Supreme Court was understandable.

I was however surprised by this sudden volte-face against Geo group without any obviously apparent reason. Rightly or wrongly, my opinion is that Imran Khan has decided not to wait another 4 years and would like to destabilize political scene to pave way for an interim general election. That is why I stated that Imran Khan has become a consummate politician, who lies without batting an eyelid. I consider this is a change for the worse. You are however welcome to disagree.
