Pakistan to reopen closed Hindu temples

I think they should do it for some salvation of their own wicked souls, they wouldn't be doing a favor upon Muslims rather their own selves.

There is no doubt that Islam is the religion that God wants for its slaves. Being a Muslim gives us superiority over the Mushrikeen and as such, we should feel proud in demolishing houses of Satan where shirk is done and Hinduism is the filthiest since it's idolatry to bazillion idols.

But the opposite is happening sadly ie in China and India.
Genghis khan also believed he was the punishment of God for all of humanity.
He reduced the world population by 4% during his lifetime alone.
So keep your beliefs to yourself mate.

The guy is a troll, reincarnation of a member banned "Jack sparrow".

LOL, did you just compare me to Genghis Khan because i don't want my tax money spent on reopening closed temples?

Just think about what you said, maybe you will facepalm in stupidity hehe

Yes sir, they are national heritage. Not sure about Jain though, but the areas under Pakistan were the birthplace of Buddhism. We have most if not all the Stuppas where the remains of Budha were put.
I have repeatedly visited the places where Buddhism was born and flourished.

Remains of the Gandhara are also pretty close to my place. Local folklore talks about a lady who used to rule over those remains, although I am not sure about the exact history.

You do not belong in Pakistan and among our people. If you are in Australia please stay there. People like you are like a plaque in our society, very few but toxic nonetheless. India doesn't need to invade Pakistan while people like you have been eating my country from inside for decades.
And try not to spill your toxic bullshit here more often? People look at these discussions and people like you don't represent the opinion of the masses in Pakistan.
The flourishing of Buddhism in Pakistan and Afghanistan was temporary though.

Emperor Ashoka spread Buddhism into Pakistan and Afghanistan. During his time and during the rule of the Kushans, Afghanistan and Pakistan was a flourishing Buddhist region especially the Gandhar region.

However later Afghanistan and Pakistan became filled with Zoroastrians and Hindus after Sassanians and different Hindu kingdoms began to emerge and take over the Indian subcontinent. By the time Muslims conquered both Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hindu and Zoroastrian influence was already rampant in these regions however buddhist influence was not so weak too.

Before Muslims, we were attacked by Sassanid Zoroastrians and Hindus too.

Rightly pointed and I agree fully, Pakistani by virtue of geography/ethnicity and religiously have always been a society of tolerance, movements of 50, 70 and the after effects are only due to the fact that all those people who were against creation of Pakistan wanted to become relevant in the new state and they had to create villains, and when the time came Zia was the one who made them from charity consumers of Thursday to monsters of yesterday, good thing is they are again becoming irrelevant. Last 15 years have taught valuable lessons to us, it is not our nature and doesn't suit us, we are not completely out of the woods but we will eventually become one of the best tolerant society with religious freedom for all.

@Mangus Ortus Novem @Dubious this is positive Pakistan, we are not doing out of compulsion, not due to any international pressure, not to meet any other obligation/demand but to give equal rights in freedom of belief to other Pakistanis.

I would rather use the term stooping that low, however, even if none of us want to compare this with them they will invite themselves for comparison. Nonetheless this is a good thing and as such should be encouraged, just like the matter of Katas Raj Temples.
It also hugely depends which part of Pakistan you belong too. Punjabis are the most liberal bunch and I believe Punjab region especially Lahore and Islamabad is very safe for Hindus.

I don't know much about Balochistan and Sindh so I won't comment.

However living amongst Pashtuns in KPK would not be so easy. Unlike Punjabis, Pashtuns are very conservative. Also KPK is an unsafe region especially places like Waziristan.

@Pakhtoon yum Elaborate the situation of Hindus in KPK please.

No actually it depends upon your perspective and first hand knowledge, see I am in USA these days my old friends are surprised to know that I am still alive because their media has been spoon feeding them Pakistan is a country where there are bomb blast and terrorism at every corner, same goes to myanmar to them it is a war zone a third world shit hole, whereas the reality s altogether different.

The largest concentration of Hindus in Pakistan is in Sindh, you many want to search Umerkot Sindh, what else mithi oh yes sheedis in sindh.

Baluchistan some of the real sacred temples of hindus are in Baluchistan and they hold their annual religious festivals there, I am married in one of the well connected family of KPK, my inlaws old house about 300 years old in Peshawar Qissa Khawani was made by a hindu trader. There are lots of hindus in KPK infact one of the most renowned child specialist in Swat KPK used to be a hindu, we Pakistanis just like any other country/nation is not free from our share of people with hate crime related tendencies but excpet for th last few decades and now again we have always been a tolerant society. Here in USA new york I know neighborhoods, towns, cities where none of the colored dare to visit because some of the real extremists live there and they'd kill one of us at sight.

It may be your perspective, but real Pakistan is different.

Punjab is a developed region so is Karachi but I doubt KPK is developed region.

KPK is the poorest and least developed region in Pakistan as far as I have read and a war torn region as well.

KPK is also an area of operation of the Taliban.

Balochistan is the least one. KPK is much better.

First of all no one gives a rat's sh$t what you practice in kpk. So stop spreading false propaganda.

Secondly they're arent many if any Hindus in kpk. We have Sikhs and the people usually shop from their stores over anyone's else's.

I did not throw false information and neither I'm trolling. It's just my speculation because these areas were once affected by the Afghan war. So I had the idea that kpk is still not fully developed due to the war. Also was Peshawar not the place where a school was attacked by the TTP?

@Dubious @Pakhtoon yum

What has a school being attacked have to do with the bullsh$t you stated? Schools in America are attacked everyday does thay correlate to the same bullsh$t you are propagating?

It looks like you did not read my post carefully. I used the APS school attack as reference but yes because KPK is near the Afghan border, threats of attacks still exists at least that's what outsiders believe.

At its peak, The Taxila and adjoining regions housed the greatest concentration of Buddhists, universities, stuppas/religious sites in the time.
If you are a Buddhist you wanna see these places.

Yes but for us Buddhists visiting them are not mandatory. We go to India mostly as most of our holy sites are based in India.

IDK about him but are you retarded?
He might be misinformed and all you have to do is explain it to him instead of throwing shit at him like he is supposed to be born with all the knowledge of your country?
Your kind of mindset is the reason people are misinformed and they prefer being that way instead of trying to discuss things out.
Like seriously are you dumb, stupid or just lack what it takes to discuss things on a public forum that is open to international audience? Do I want people like you to represent my country over here?

@Dubious Please put some sense in the mind of @Pakhtoon yum

You are right Central London is all ghettos, Manhattan is a shit hole, new delhi is the cleanest city in the world, red necks are the least racist people on earth, and Burkina Fasso is the financial capital of the world. Pun intended, please don't speculate unless you know the place beyond international media and Bollywood movies and Indian soaps. Your every sentence about Pakistan at best is a joke and as mentioned in my signature I have no interest in petty squabbling, its just people having no knowledge about Pakistan put forth statements with certainty which are as far from actual facts as day and night makes me wonder!
