Again as i said we are only interested in real history of our ancestors. And we go by scientific and archaeologists facts instead of mullahs and Hindu nuts telling history of our ancestors.

Yes thats why ur history begins with IVC, then skips 2 thousand years and reappears with mohammad bin qasim.:coffee:

After Poonch, Pak now opens fire in Pallanwala
Ravi Krishnan Khajuria/TNS

Jammu, August 30
After firing at Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector since August 6, the Pakistan army yesterday opened fire at a forward post in the Pallanwala sector of the Akhnoor subdivision, 60 km north of Jammu.

“Around 10:30 pm yesterday, Pakistani troops opened fire in the Bhadwal forward area of the Pallanwala sector, resulting in an exchange of fire till midnight,” said a senior Army officer. He said Pakistani troops used small arms fire and targeted four posts.

“We gave them an effective and strong response,” he said.

While the Poonch sector has not witnessed fresh firing by the Pakistan army for the past two days, firing in Pallanwala seems to be an attempt to ease off the pressure along the LoC opposite the Poonch sector, he said. The officer divulged that senior officers of the Pakistan army had conducted aerial and ground recce on the other side of the LoC opposite Poonch, Saujiyan, Mendhar and Hamirpur belts.

“Latest Intelligence inputs and our observations tell that the Pakistan army has also moved artillery opposite the Mendhar sector. While an artillery battery usually comprises six guns, they have moved two to three artillery guns opposite Mendhar,” he said.

So far, Pakistan had been using battalion-level weapons viz, small arms fire and automatics, including rocket-propelled grenades and mortars (82 mm), drawing a similar response from the Indian side.

“Though the artillery has not been used by them (Pakistani troops) till now, the possibility of using it (following artillery movement opposite Mendhar) cannot be ruled out,” he said.

“We are keeping a constant watch on developments unfolding on the other side,” he said. After remaining quiet to unwarranted and unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops, the Indian Army is now going full throttle.

Since August 8, the Indian Army has decimated 15 Pakistani posts and several bunkers opposite the Poonch, Mendhar and Hamirpur areas by firing mortar shells, rockets and automatic weapons, including anti-material guns.

From August 8 to 14, Pakistani troops fired 900 mortars (82mm), 120 rocket-propelled grenades, 13,500 rounds of small arms fire and 6,000 rounds of automatic weapons in the Poonch, Mendhar and Balakote sectors.

The Indian Army retaliated and fired 600 mortars, 150 rockets, 22,000 rounds of small arms fire and 6,000 rounds of automatic weapons

SIALKOT - The indiscriminate firing by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) on Sialkot bordering villages created panic and harassment among the local people in Bajwat sector of Sialkot Working Boundary on Saturday morning.

According to the senior officials of Chenab Rangers, the people were busy in their routine life when Indian Boarder Security Forces started indiscriminate firing on Pakistani bordering villages in Bajwat sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.

These officials revealed the Indian Border Security Forces started indiscriminate firing at 7am, which continued for half an hour intermittently. The Indian forces also tried to target Chenab Rangers’ Shah Jamal check post in Bajwat, the officials added. The Chenab Rangers retaliated in a befitting manner and silenced the Indian guns. The BSF used heavy machine guns, the officials further said.

Online adds: Two civilians were hurt as Indian army resorted to unprovoked firing at LoC working boundary Sialkot. The Indian forces continued their aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary and resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing for hours, hurting two more civilians on Saturday.

The military officials said mortars were fired from the Indian side at Bajwat sector. The Indian army also fired mortar shells at Warkhan and Bagh Shah Jamal posts on LoC. Sources said one of the shells fired by the Indian artillery from across the international border fell in a house in Bajwat.

The Pakistan armed forces retaliated in a befitting manner and silenced the enemy’s guns.

India resumes firing in Nakyal sector

MUZAFFARABAD - Indian forces again started unprovoked firing on the civil population of Azad Kashmir in Nakyal sector from across the Line of Control.

Assistant Commissioner Nakayal, Chaudhry Muhammad Ayub told newsmen on Monday that due to firing, students of the area faced difficulties in coming back to homes from schools. However‚ the local administration managed safe return of the students.

Monitoring adds: Numerous children were stranded inside a local school, according to a media report.

On August 27, at least five people, including two women and a girl, were injured by heavy shelling and unprovoked firing at Nakyal Sector.

The continuous shelling and bombardment across the Line of Control (LoC) had forced the natives to flee. However, a few civilians returned home after having no such incident in the past four days.

After the fresh incident on Monday, the residents have once again started leaving the area.

The continued ceasefire violation on the LoC has created tensions in the region. The two countries agreed to a ceasefire along the LoC in November 2003, but skirmishes have flared across the heavily-militarised Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border in Kashmir, in recent weeks, with both sides blaming each other for having violated the agreement.

Pakistan has maintained that it seeks to resolve all disputes with the neighbouring country through talks.

I don't think Jihad-e-Kashmir 2.0 has heated up as Jihad-e-Kashmir 1.0 as of yet as the ceasefire is still intact. Between 1998-2004 there were over 23,000 incidents (averaging over 3,000 a year) while last year there were only around 250 or so.

Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC again

JAMMU: Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the LoC in two forward areas of Jammu district and targeted Indian posts with small arms and medium machine guns on Monday evening.

"There was firing by Pakistan Army on Indian forward posts in two areas along Line of Control in Jammu district from 1720 hours," Defence spokesman SN Acharya said.

Pakistani troops fired with small arms and medium machine guns in Gigrial and Laukikan forward areas. Indian troops gave a "calibrated response", resulting in heavy exchanges that were going on when reports last came in from the area, he said.

There was no report of loss of life or injury. The firing incident has taken place on the heels of sniper firing from across the border on an observation post of BSF along International Border in Maljodha BOP area of Jammu yesterday in which a jawan narrowly escaped.

BSF troops retaliated effectively, the spokesman said. There has been over 90 ceasefire violations by the Pakistani troops from January 1.

Six jawans were killed and 13 people injured in ceasefire violations and firing by Pakistani troops in forward posts, civilian areas and patrol parties along the border in over a month.

JAMMU: In a fresh ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops on Wednesday opened unprovoked firing on five Indian forward posts along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, prompting retaliation from Indian forces.

Pakistan army troops opened small and medium weaponry firing and lobbed rocket-propelled grenades in Mendhar sub-sector of Poonch district at around 1230 hours, defence spokesman S N Acharya said.

Indian troops gave an equal calibre retaliation, resulting in exchanges that stopped around 1340 hours, he said, adding there was no report of loss of life or injury.

The Indian posts which came under attack are Palli, 485, 485A, Puna and Noyal.

There have been over 90 ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops so far this year. Six jawans were killed and 13 people injured in ceasefire violations and firing by Pakistani troops in forward posts and civilian areas and on patrol parties along the border in over a month.

On September 9, Pakistani troops had fired with small arms at Gamdhir and Mendhar sub-sectors along the LoC.

Pakistani troops, which violated ceasefire along the LoC in two forward areas of Gigrial and Laukikan in Jammu district, targeted Indian posts with small arms and medium machine guns on Monday, Acharya said, adding the firing continued till midnight without any causality or injury.

There was sniper firing from across the border on a BSF observation post along International Border in Maljodha BOP area of Jammu on Sunday in which a jawan narrowly escaped.

Jammu: Pakistani troops on Sunday fired at Indian positions in Mendhar sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

"Around 6.30 am, Pakistani troops fired at Pilli and Noal posts in Dari Dabsi area of the LoC in Mendhar sector," police sources told a news agency.

The Pakistan Army used automatics and light weapons and the Indian side retaliated the fire.

Till last reports came in, firing exchange between the two sides was still going on.

On Friday, India's External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Pakistan's adviser on foreign affairs and national security, Sartaj Aziz, agreed to a meeting of the Prime Ministers of the two countries in New York later this month.

Aziz and Khurshid met in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. The two leaders had agreed to respect the LoC ceasefire agreement.

Just two days after the meet, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire.

The bilateral ceasefire agreement was signed by the two neighbours in November 2003. It had brought normalcy in the lives of thousands of people living close to the border.

India has been accusing Pakistan of unprovoked violation of the ceasefire agreement since the beginning of the year.
