What's new

Jf17 and Mig 35 remain the only options being evaluated for increasing interest: Argentine air force

Correct, however, given the deep challenge Argentina is in financially; they are in no position to repay anything. If you recall even the kfirs they sought they could not fund. in this case, it is a band new platform and weapon system which will need to be bought, integrated and maintained; not to mention training.
Chinese soft loans?

Do they still want the Falklands? As in fight a war for it?

The Argentine constitutes stipulates Falklands is Argentine land. It was added to Argentine constitution soon after the Falklands war. Britain and Argentina never signed peace treaty and therefore still technically at war.

It'd be good if Pakistan can buy into Argentina's meat and mining markets as an offset. Imagine the income we could make by exporting to the US via Argentina.

Yes, but in which manner Bilal. Argentina's beef industry is off limits to outsiders. Mining remains an opportunity but south african mega-mining consortiums are already having most exposure already. In terms of mining, what were your thoughts? Pak's mining expertise are very limited.

Time for the UK to boost up their defence in the Falklands then.

MiG-35 don't have AESA. Russia after 1991 is technology weak. Can't even launch a rocket at Mars.
According to the General Director of UAC, Yuri Slyusar, they will create an export version of the MiG-35 fighter with a new cockpit Export customers can chose Zhuk-A/AM AESA radar instead of PESA radar of serial production MiG-35.

Well, currently MiG-35 don't have AESA and won't for the foreseeable future. Even Russian air force rejected MiG-35 due to lack of AESA. On the other hand, JF-17 Block 3 has AESA.

The argentine article above, apparently the comments are disgusting and they are against getting the jf17, if it’s true they don’t deserve the jf17 imo.

I read the comments... Didn't see a concern about the "disgusting" comments. Most comments were supportive and the few odd ones are expected in any online discussion.
