if the turkish lira wasnt weak in the last years it could be

Why is a South Asian worrying about a Turkish agent of NATO ? 🤔

Turkey was doing great until was the trump started clashing and the lira started dropping overnight

when I travelled Turkey in 2017, if my memory is correct, I was able to exchange Turkish lira for around 4.50 to 4.70 against GBP and now it’s around 12 Turkish liras against 1 British Pound. So if Turkey had maintained the currency rate… it would have achieved a lot of these targets

Turkish lira in my opinion has potential to bounce back and recover some of its value lost in the last couple of years

why did america destroy turkish Lira? Arent they allies?

I was watching on the news an hour ago that the Turkish Central Bank's been given orders that are not realistic and something about the Turkish economy being in trouble. The opposition was blaming Erdogan about the students sleeping at parks because there are not enough student dormitories, while he spends hundreds of millions of dollars to build a tower in New York and to maintain his personal airplanes.
