Indigenous aircraft carrier IAC-3 and IAC-4

There have been many incomplete talks about indian navy will go for 2 more aircraft carriers after the commission of IAC-2 by 2017. many claim that it will be nuclear powered, will have 70k+ ton weight could carry over 50 aircrafts. please feel free to discuss about this because i know many people here are looking up to the IAC program. for starters their length ,beam,Speed,Propulsion,Range, defensive capabilities, Complement,aircrafts carried etc. thank you

as per govt

iac 1 is under cons

iac 2 order will be given only after iac 1 has major cons completion.

as per mod they need 2 carriers active as one is in need of repairs

as per iac3,iac4 they may be nuclear but no plans before 2020

never heard of IAC-3 and IAC-4...Actually we dont need them..it will be better to invest in submarines instead..We dont want to become another Soviet union..

yes 5 carriers itshelf need 10+ subs ,20+ destroyers, frigates for their own protection

yes , instead of 5 carriers... we should have 50 subs..

but look one carrier need 2 sub + 4 destroyer and frigates. it's mean one carrier can it self enough to destroy any small country....
