How many Indians troops crossed over the LoC?

Bullshit green media. Indian troops just replied to the 'friendly firing' of the Pak troops.

Update: Indian Army *did* in fact retaliate after Pak ceasefire violation, say sources in Northern Command. Retaliated with small arms fire.

Bravo: After Pak fired mortars near Churunda, J&K at 3AM, Indian Army fired back with small arms. Firing continued till 8AM.

So the Pak soldier was killed in a fair fight.

Srinagar: Pakistani troops today violated ceasefire by firing mortar shells towards Indian army posts in Uri sector near the Line of Control.

Villagers near Churunda village in south Jhelum sector had some anxious moments after firing started around 3.15 am. Army troops guarding the borderline retaliated which forced the Pakistani troop to stop firing.

Panick has gripped the villagers who feared casualties and damage to property as last time.

“They (Pakistan army) started firing mortar shells towards our posts at Churunda village in Uri sector around 3.15am,” an army spokesman said.

He said some of the shells landed close to civilian habitation but there was no damage done.

The spokesman said the army retaliated the Pakistani shelling briefly after which there has been quiet from both sides.

If there was no misadventure from Indian side, then Pakistan could have simply said,"One soldier Martyred in cross border firing".

But obviously there was misadventure by the Indians and weapons left behind are there to prove that.

RIP our brave warrior.....your death will not go unpunished. !!

Indians have never crossed LOC :) even during kargil war otherwise there would have been mass casualties.
You guys even refuted on kargil but later on found naked in international media. It seems that living in denial have been your national habit.

If Indian army soldiers indeed crossed LOC, killed a pak soldier and came back, why would they leave their weapons behind?? Something doesnot sound right...right!?

Weapons are heavy , & when you Flee from a battle field you leave your weapons to shed some weight & leave the area fast.

Face saving tactics by pakistanis. They got their troop killed and to save their face they said indians left weapons behind.
if indians can cross LOC and kill their soldier then why the hell we leave weapon behind?

why we crossed LOC? to ocupy pakistani kashmir?

No heavy weapons were used...only light weapons which I think Indian soldiers can very well carry and run . It's not like thieves running away leaving the bounty after spotting the police. They need to defend themselves on the way back right...so no they might not have left their weapons behind.

You believe that side of the media but when same source tells you that Pakistan still holds three Kargil peaks....then you push your head where sun don't shine......surely there must be more than being a hypocrite. :D
