India told not to 'bracket Bangladesh with Pakistan'

Its India's deceptive trade barriers that hinders BD's export potential into India.Whether India employees such trade barriers through security excuses or not , doesn't give this BAL puppets any excuse to accuse PAK. Its their fault for allowing India to make BD a dumping ground over the last 4 years.

Bangladeshi Governments failure to secure its interest in India and allowing India to operate freely in Bangladesh is all of sudden Pakistan fault.

Its BAL gov we are talking about.Their sort term aim to make BD a Indian vassal with the long term goal of making this country Indian territory. Delusional idiots still dreaming of Dada India.

THe High commissioner of BD has a valid point, growth of BD economy will carry forward the whole area including Myanmar and the NE.

This High commissioner of BD doesn't have any other qualification other than a awamileger. Our economic growth never depended on India, never has and never will. Our largest Export partner is US and largest Import partner is china. Our export to your supa pawa country is a mere 500 million that pales in comparison to our 25 bn $$$ total export and 14 bn $$$ yearly remittance. Rather it is your gratefulness begging country that benefits the most with Indo-BD trade exporting 3 bn $$$ worthless $hit, trying to destroy our youth with smuggling of phensedyl while your border dhoti walas patnered with hizra BSF don't have any other means of income other than smuggling cows to BD.

If U want to show your gratefulness to us then say tank you, otherwise don't fart nonsense here. Look at your country before clamming such nonsense Indian.:)

There is a very strong reason to believe that the ISI through its supporters in the non AL type parties in BD will use this route for transfer of funds and other nefarious activities.

Security clearance therefore is a concern.

Absolutely, I only have faith in secular parties like AL. Jamaati J-i-h-a-d-i parites can take a hike because they aint getting a single cent from India. They can take their begging bowl to Ummah brothers in Pakistan and Arabia

I shouldn't even have bothered with delusional Indians by posting here. Let them live in their grand delusions. BANGLADESHIS PLEASE DON"T POST HERE ON THIS WORTHLESS THREAD.

Anyway we have seen that India is scared of Bangladesh.

India is also scared of Pakistan.

India is scared of China.

Of course all of these nations are "insignificant", which is why Indians obsess over the 24-7 and spam Bangladeshi threads even when they have nothing to do with India because they "don't care about Bangladesh" (though they post about it 24-7, 365 days a year).

True fools.

all of the sudden its pakistan fault as bangladesh isnt able to make india happy??

Well India must have put these restrictions during BNP regime, when they operated openly against India.
Such sanctions usually requires time to take off.

Read the article, Bangladesh is saying dont compare us to Pakistan... they (Bangladeshi leaders) are insulted that India considers Bangldesh in the same level as Pak when it comes to security...

I think Idune is basically right.

The Indian regime is showing that it has no interest in allowing 2 way free trade but simply in dominating the Bangladeshi market, and will use pretexts to do this.

India will also threaten and intimidate any Bangladeshi government in power to accept Indian exports, operating like the mafia godfather and thug that it is.

If India continues like this, there will be some serious negative karma hitting this insurgency-infested, poverty-stricken failed state and hotch potch of different bickering tribes, castes and religions.

Indian officials signed on the dotted line with this knowledge then Indian business took full advantage of the deal and gained Access to bangladesh market during all this time it was cool but genuine fears only came into play when Bengali businesses ask India to honor their part of the deal.

india is not weakening bangladesh economy with counterfiet money..its other way round.....as far as trade is concerned
"A bilateral FTA between the two nations would increase Bangladesh's exports to India by 182 per cent and that of India's to Bangladesh by 126 per cent," the World Bank Lead Economist Sanjay Kathuria said while releasing a report titled 'Unlocking Bangladesh-India Trade' at a CII function here.
'India-Bangla FTA can increase bilateral trade by over 100%' - The Economic Times

But I thought we were scared of the mighty Bangladeshis? How can we afford to intimidate you, when its actually you guys who is intimidating us as per your last post :undecided:

Fair enough, but in my defence Bangladeshi diplomat bought Pak in, not us :partay:

Soon, visa on arrival for both India and Bangladesh citizens

Dhaka, Kolkata, 17 December: The Indian government is planning a new travel agreement with Bangladesh, enabling citizens of both the countries to avail of visa on arrival.
This new travel agreement is likely to be signed in January, 2013, when Indian home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will be visiting Dhaka to sign a number of other pacts with his Bangladeshi counterpart M K Alamgir. Indian officials are expecting the new travel agreement to come into effect from April, as it will take some time to process it.

The move is aimed at mending fences with Bangladesh. The country had been left disappointed after the Teesta agreement fell through in September 2011. The objection raised by West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee threw a spanner on the agreement. With the Teesta pact put on hold and Mamata still sticking to her stance, external affairs minister Salman Khurshid skipped the subject while discussing bilateral issues with Alamgir in New Delhi earlier this month.

The visa on arrival will initially be restricted to certain categories of travellers. Shinde and Alamgir had held talks in Delhi a fortnight back, so that Bangladesh government agrees to provide a similar visa on arrival to Indians.

The move is also expected to give a boost to the image of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who will be facing the elections in 2013. She is known for her initiatives to improve Indo-Bangla relationship. In 2012, there were regular talks on bilateral issues, with Bangladesh foreign minister Dr Dipu Moni travelling to India on a number of occasions. Even Hasina had sent an envoy to attend former Prime Minister I K Gujral’s funeral recently. Indian President Pranab Mukherjee also has plans to visit Bangladesh.

While on Sunday Vijay Diwas was celebrated to remember Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, this visa on arrival will help to further improve ties with Bangladesh, Indian officials said.

Indian officials said the facility would be available to patients coming to India for treatment – elderly citizens above 65 and children below 12 years of age with parents accompanying them. Plans are afoot to extend this facility to businessmen and tourists travelling in groups. Visa on arrival is likely to remain valid for two months and talks are on to explore the possibility of exempting businessmen from reporting before the local police. Also, travellers who have never overstayed the visa period could be eligible for this visa.

There are plans to allow Bangladesh visitors to enter India, through visa on arrival, at points like the Haridaspur-Benapol border, as the Kolkata to Dhaka bus plies through the route. Another point can be Gede-Darshana border, in case the visitors travel by train and the Kolkata and Delhi airports. Similarly, a visa on arrival centre may come up at Tripura as there is a direct bus link between Agartala and Dhaka.

However, the officials want to ensure that the entry and exit points from India to be the same. Then it will be easier for the Indian agencies to keep track of those who are staying back, because there are often allegations that many people from Bangladesh, entering on short visas, are staying back and it becomes difficult for the Indian agencies to track them.
