America abandoned India in Afghanistan?

The real crux of the story “If the conflict between the US and China happens in Pakistan, regardless of the winner Pakistan will cease to exist”

Guess which venomous genocidal barbaric neighbor of Pakistan is playing to that affect?
Hint: they are in the east

Gen. Tariq Khan, ex Head Pakistan's Central Command and Frontier Corps that defeated Pakistani Taliban (TTP) in a provocative interview with Dr. Moeed Pirzada (Editor GVS) explains how Washington has abandoned its ally India and its proxy Kabul regime in another shift of US politics. But he busts the myth of Afghan invincibility pointing out how both Sikhs under Maharaja Ranjit Singh and British had repeatedly defeated and humbled the rulers of Kabul. Highly informative discussion. Must watch for students of International Relations, Politics and aspirants of competitive exams like CSS, IAS and PAS.

Here are times during the interview when my ears pricked up:

22:30 "This military official is himself a Pashtoon from Tank South.Waziristan with roots as deep as 400 years. So does the other official in the other video below. Both are Pakhtoon, Pathan."

3:20 " (911) which may or may not have happened the way it did"

25:44 "It's in fact a-war-in-search-of-strategy"

26:25 "The real reason for US staying put in Afghan was keeping eye on Pakistan"

26:58 "As always, American hit on the weakest person on the block"

6:30 "TLP settled in Nuristan province that was vacated by Americans, and TLP took refuge there under the watch of Americans"

7:25 "Terrorism will only go away if all the intelligence agencies are ended"

11:55 & 36:28 "Talibs have done a maneuver that they have cut off Northern Alliance from Central Aisa and cut off lines of communications for N.Alliance from outside"

13:17 "Americans have abandoned the Afghan Government (14:06 as well as Indians), which is the only government in world looking for a foreign occupation, otherwise it can't exist :) "

15:12 "I don't agree with notion that Afghanistan is graveyard of empires. . . Afghan make very bad, undisciplined soldiers . . 16:10 Afghans have never stopped any invaders"

19:43 "Notion that British imposed Durand Line is incorrect, rather Afghans welcomed it."

20:45 "Pashtoon population in Afghan is 15 million, & in Pakistan is 36 million. We can't expect 36m to go to Afghan so we'll have to move the border towards 15m :) " (((Relate this to 3:50 & 5:35 in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=liaWG83wYUQ )))

21:50 "Ruling party in Afghan has always been pashtoon.

23:30 "Afghan was synonymous with Pashtoon. Only after 1964 non-pashtoon were given the identity of being Afghan."

There was a mention of Charlie Wilson (Texas politician) during the interview:

25:03 "Americans have NOT lost a single battle in Afghanistan. It's a political decision to leave, not a military one."

28:55 "we are not good at show casing our contributions."

29:16 (((This is where general suffered from a little gap in his memory. We DID do it for Americans at the beginning which resulted in criminals infiltrating our land. Then later on we did it for our own reasons.)))

31:14 "Minister have accepted that there was a car full of explosives involved in attack on bus full of Chinese"

31:55 "CPEC is the front face of BRI (Belt Road Initiative), and is a Chinese initiative to connect Africa, Europe, Asia; 2/3rd of the world. CPEC is alternative to Malacca Straight which is threatened by Americans."

33:15 "Gawadar port has potential to accept more cargo (80mn tons) than entire Indian ports put together. Expected to come online by 2030."

33:50 (((General makes another silly suggestion. Give a port to Americans just like CPEC have bring Amerika in as a competitor. General thinks this will avoid devastation of Pakistan due to US-China-tussle, but in reality this is a silly suggestion I think.)))

He is telling not to choose sides
They way to do it is to give equal oppurtunities
If an american company wants to build a port for economic reasons or a japense singapore and so on ..so be it..

We shouldnt do lets join a camp approach ..hasnt worked before...

Anyone knowing history knows that as soon as america entered afghanistan the arabs came to pakistan and started operating from here

Hint: they are in the east
Hence we need to approach west and give them similar incentives

Learn from bengaldesh and vietnam

Both are doing good playing all sides..americans, chinese and even indians

Vietname fought war with both china and america and is top destination for both these countries

And China is more important than India.
you won't hear any disagreements from me
This conversation is in context of Afghanistan, and for sure India is not more important than Pakistan for control of Afghanistan. It was foolish of US to let India sit in Afghanistan and destabilize Pakistan, this resurrected Pakistan's support for Taliban and here we are, leaving this country with no considerable progress. Hack we made more progress in South Vietnam than this, in addition to this fiasco now Pakistan is sitting firmly in Chinese camp.
India is not a neighbor of Afghanistan
if not for 9/11 no one in. America cares for Afghanistan

If US Navy can hit Malacca Strait they can scorch Gwadar any day

Yes sir! Good point that was missed by me and others from this video: In this war of the giants in Pakistan's vicinity, Pakistan loses if and when either sides wins. There is a saying like when elephants fights, grass is trampled. And if you look into the history of Pakistan, it was the US-USSR fight in Afghanistan in the 1980s which led to so much chaos in Pakistan. Trust me: The Pakistan of up to 1979 was a much more 'normal' country then it became by 1989. I lived through those years and this is not some 'nostalgia' about good old 1970s.

So... as the General says... Pakistan should work hard toward NOT making Pakistan a battleground for America-China rivalry. Or, as the General also says, take your war to the Pacific and leave us alone!! And So I am hoping there is some sincerity to America's new 'Afghan Quad' involving Uzbekistan/Pakistan/Afghanistan/USA.

All thise countries that are playing the balance have mature and nationalist populations. Pakistanis are generally immature and aren’t really a nation. PDF is a great petri dish sample to see interactions.

Both countries have strong dictatorship and mature leaders

Taliban a CIA creation will work for CIA interest..
though it is an unwise thing say on this form but still... neo-talis are a bait a lure for perceived idiots in the immediate vicinity. though I do hope that they are wiser and more prudent than the trapper

If US Navy can hit Malacca Strait they can scorch Gwadar any day

It’s not that easy at all

Touching Gawadar will be treated as full scale war and Pakistan have means to make life in Middle East very difficult for Americans

plus usa is not foolish to touch something which will upset the whole region and this whole area will become no go area for them
Pakistani knows who is holding the super power and they will never try to touch Pakistan directly which will become first target

An eye opening analysis with the facts not fictions! IMO this is the most forthright expression regarding the mindset of the Pak Deep State, which is more "secular" and "Western minded" than I had thought.....

What's happening inside Afganistan now vis-à-vis in Pak's favor is per plan, and the stakeholders know it....

For a reason Pak has joined another QUAD minus India, for the US policymakers also know: if you want to get a job done find the Pindi Boys....

Any one can hit anyone anywhere but at what cost?..last i check USA even deescalted to Iran at fear of cost of war

U must living in india if u think tax payers will tolerate another war

Brilliant! And good examples of BD and Vietnam.
Pakistan must guard against joining any camp. What is the need for that? The economy? Pakistan is not like countries without industry, agriculture, human capital, and entrepreneur history. Pakistani nation, if they really decide to, can survive on their own in a sort of replication of North Korea's Juche ideology.

And militarily Pakistan ensures that if Pakistan is pushed to a corner then it will take down a wide region while going down. You know why North Korea and Iran are not bombed despite needling America for decades: Because they can bring down South Korea and the Middle East, respectively, while going down themselves. There is balance of terror! Similarly, Pakistan should focus tons of missiles at Indian cities as the deterrence, not worry too much about expensive airplanes or subs and focus on the economy with a laser focus on achieving an economy where at least the basics of the economy will be met without fear of foreign sanctions or economic blackmail.

So hope for the best but really prepare for THE WORST.
