Why Pakistan has abandoned F-16 Deal with US....???

The deal has gone sour so be it. With 270 million dollars we can build ten JF-17 planes. We should strive to stand on our own feet.

There are always vested interests among nations and no free lunches. Pakistan choose to side with US and instead of choosing economic prosperity opted for Islamic terror. Start grooming private industries instead of Fauji foundation for economic prosperity

Using your logic

There is no Point of crying of India in Kashmir when Pakistan work for its own interests.
Same goes for Americans in Afghanistan related to Haqqani network ......

Thanks for advice, it's not needed though.

Yes, it is game of geo-political stuff which is being played out in Kashmir. Hope Indian establishment using its diplomatic, economic and political might turn it around same for Azad Kashmir and Gilgit. I can see India is changing game. Interesting time ahead.

Indeed interesting time ahead.......

More Tri color coffins ....... lol

India will invade GB and AZAD Kashmir :coffee:

what about the other US and its allies made militarry hardware with pakistan armed forces how will you keep them in running order if finally USA pulls of the plug :azn:

You can get equally good fighter like EuroGighter/Gripen or Mig 35...Why are you so obsessed with F-16
No we cannot right now beacuse EF is too expensive and Grippen (We already have those capabilities in form of JF-17s) and for Mig 35 we cannot get because of Indian pressure on Russia. So no chance in near future for either EF, Grippen, Mig35 nor SU 35.

Latest news on ARY stating that President Obama's special envoy, Richard Wilson is arriving in Islamabad to discuss and solve the F-16 issue and the drone attack which has strained the relations between the two countries.

That's funny because India is the slave of the US. You really think that the US is giving free lunch to India? You think that all the call center jobs and high tech weapons are being supplied as freebies? Think again. India is the new police officer of the US. You will do as the Americans say. Even if that means instability for the region. You Indians are on the payroll of a nation on the other side of the ocean. LOL I'm glad that Pakistan is moving away from such a nasty role.

Who cares about the F-16s anymore? Like you have already admitted, they were good as long as we were getting them subsidized. Now, the Yanks aren't willing to subsidize them anymore. Big deal. We'll move on and look elsewhere because with that kind of money we can invest in our own JF-17 or even get a new fighter.

LOL @ Tejas. Dude, don't even mention that plane. Indians are terrible cooks when it comes to cooking any hardware let alone a fighter jet. You have spent billions of dollars and imported most of the plane from abroad. Yet, despite so much help from the outside world this fighter is a failure like the rest of Indian projects. Indians only like to brag and talk big. We know what your DNA is made out of. It stinks.

Let the Americans exploit slumdog India. We are fine with China as our trusted friend and ally. At least our Chinese friends don't back-stab us at every opportunity. China invests billions of dollars in Pakistan which directly benefits the people of Pakistan unlike US poisonous aid which doesn't even reach its intended recipients. US aid is blood bribe and we are better off without it. In fact, American unwillingness to subsidize F-16s is a blessing for Pakistan. Finally, Pakistan will be forced to look elsewhere, be creative and more self-sufficient. America won't be in a position to scream to do more. For Pakistan it is only a win win.

Lol look who is talking. Was there on US lap for 69 years and calling us slaves. We are paying for every single thing and not getting on khairat. They have outsourced service industry job to us because they are saving dollars, in the same way as their products get assembled in China and China making money out of it. Is China also US slave ?

Experience has taught me that if you fancy a girl and she plays hard to get then don't waste your time chasing shadows.
After declaring your feelings with conviction, just sit back and see the reaction.
Dealing with the Americans is no different. :D

High-level US team due in Pakistan tomorrow

By Web DeskJune 9, 2016 15:49

WASHINGTON/ISLAMABAD: A high-level delegation of the United States will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow amid escalating tension between the two countries.

According to details, US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Olson and Senior Director for South Asian Affairs at the National Security Council Peter Lavoy will meet Pakistan’s political and military leaderships.

The US team will hold important meetings with officials including Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and National Security Adviser (NSA) to the Prime Minister Lieutenant General (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua.

Congressional restriction on financing of F-16 fighters’ sale from Foreign Military Financing program has led to strain in ties with Pakistan.

RUBBISH!!. I know what you are saying but the 16s are a beautiful piece of machinery. It is worth every penny of its cost. US policies are a different matter altogether.
A

Let us just all keep in mind that US policies must serve US interests, as do Pakistan's policies for its own interests. That is the way it should be, of course. Expecting USA to do what is right for Pakistan is mere naivete. The goal of international diplomacy is to align interests for mutual benefit. It is a success where this is possible, and failure where it is not, and the cycle keeps on repeating. A simple concept, really.

What do you mean "New China colony". I see this as a taunt. Please don't troll.

Our boys in the armed forces are not sitting idle. I am sure they must have some contingency plans for situations like that.
