Blasphemy allegations: Mob torches factory in Jhelum

People here are forgetting the big picture. Read this article.

Investigating Pakistan's 'mobs for hire' - BBC News

"
To an outsider, it can often look like mob rule in Pakistan. There are public lynchings and frequent attacks on religious minorities and nobody ever seems to get arrested or go to jail. But running and renting out mobs is also an organised business in the country, where the men organising the mobs insist they are providing a vital public service and anything is available - at the right price.

An old man with fiery red hair, Khwaja, lounges on a rickety rope-woven bed and speaks to a rapt audience. These are all men from the area, many of them wearing prayer caps and sporting beards. He has gathered more than a dozen in just a few minutes, armed only with a cell phone and a little black book full of numbers.

"Gathering a mob - what's so difficult about that?" he says. "One phone call and a hundred people will come, they can throw stones till nothing is left and if that doesn't work, it costs very little to buy 10 litres of petrol and set things on fire."

This is mostly a ploy by rivals to destroy rival factory. Hire a mob, spread blasphemy rumors, mob will get the job done.
Land worth crores evacuated instantly

aren't they the one of most peaceful Muslims in Pakistan ,never heard them involved in any violent acts.
They are not Muslims and the law of the land recognizes them as a minority group. It si not ok to unleash violence at them or anyone else because of their faith, but they too should take care

Looks like some jealous @@hole was losing business so he instigated this against his rival, the factory owner being Ahmadi doesn't help since the Pakistani law subtly allows killing of Ahmadis.

as our countrys name reflects "pakistan"" the ummah will pak (clean) this land from hindus , christians , shias , ahmedis , barelvis and the remaining sects of islam where this will stop is any ones guess

Dont know what to make out of this

Does not make sense

A man working in the factory was accused of blasphemy and they burn the factory.

It does make sense when you read that the factory was owned by an Ahmadiyya.
must have been some protection money dispeute with some local politican/police or relegous organisation :coffee:

Accuse someone of blasphemy, gather a mob, make em flee wolla land up for sale

Ahh the islamic republic of Pakistan.. Where everyone's a kaafir except you.

As I've mentioned earlier, most Pakistanis have unknowingly been radicalised. We need to start educating the public. Otherwise the situation will only worse with time.

Ahmadiyya are non muslims by law in Pakistan. so they should not associate themselves with Islam. They should follow law of Pakistan. or these incidents will continue to happen.
Dude Wtf? sarcasm?

I have felt this a many times that ahmadies are not being treated well even as a minority............. not even like other minorities.... they are just considered certified KAFIRS ..... we should treat them atleast as a minority if not a sect

that might be true as well

Reminds of an incident in my native village where immediately following Benazir's death a mob gathered to, for no reason, destroy the factory; to which the owner of the factory responded by opening straight fires on the mob. And that's precisely how these guys ought to be treated. SHOOT AT SIGHT. PERIOD.

well any person can make owt that if a worker had done something wrong why was the whole factory set ablaze ?

why did the mob reacted like that it was orcastrated by some people with there own agendas and since there is no one to bother as to what happens to ahmadias im sure the real conspirators will yet again go scott free :coffee:

Pakistanis should defend Pakistanis not Saudis or their ideology.

There is a difference between religion/sect and a cult. Qadianism is a cult. The issues were seemed to be resolved by Zia's Ordinance XX for their code of conduct but they continue to use some Muslim theology and symbols in their cult.
