some mentality on pdf

I feel your pain, and agree on many things, but till you keep repeating these words people will think of you as another @isro2222 , unwilling to listen to others while lamenting that others dont listen to him.
Here are the words you need to use less frequently.
1. Gaddafi
2. Green book
3. Jamahariya
4. Elon Musk
5. Bill Gates
6. Communism

If you can find ways to express yourself without using these in almost every thread to the point of saturation, you can be much more pleasant to talk to. :)
hah the secular kunji ...

The Syrian civil war thread needs to get closed and the terrorist supporters need to get banned.
Nice Avatar, didn't realize you were an Ottoman fan,.... Oh wait is that the Persian Empire? My bad didn't see the Iranian part of it.:sarcastic:
maybe i am out of place in a defense forum, because it is already a place where nationalistic wars are acceptable and because so many members spend time in their own corners ( the cey bahasi turk corner, arabic coffee shop, the iran corner, the kerala corner, karnataka corner, indian political discussions thread etc )... they are already separated from transnational discussions and refuse to calmly look at the world in a big-picture way.

feel free to call me a rondoo ( cry baby ) :) for saying all this, but i am saddened by the pathetic juvenile wordings, fightings and utter ignorance of many members here.
Excuse me Mr. Rondoo , but I am highly nationalist Non-interventionist and I hang out in both Turkish and Iranian corners... and the Arabic corner I think. So I don't fit into this category of yours.
why is a large portion of pdf population so callous, cruel, ignorant, brain-washed, selfish, hateful, sectarian, isolationist, uncouth, ill-educated, cowardly, reactionary??
:o: that was harsh...:tsk:

can you list your achievements of the last ten years?? :)

4 papers on Nanophotonics having impact factor more than 8, in the process of getting patent on eddy current based sensor (group, and computational), PhD in top university with Dean's fellowship.

And supporting an orphanage for physically disabled children from my business income. Family runs a free school for children of labours in our industry.

These, in the last 3 years.

Did i mention my role as an investment consultant for my friends and families? :D

why is a large portion of pdf population so callous, cruel, ignorant, brain-washed, selfish, hateful, sectarian, isolationist, uncouth, ill-educated, cowardly, reactionary?? sensitive heroes like che guevara and muammar gaddafi who dedicated their life to humanity would have felt insulted in this gathering of mocking ignorant stone-hearted fools who cannot be affected by sufferings... the old prophets and preachers would have suffered bouts of crying at the disconnected and callous wording of many here.

many members can hardly charm a stone let alone a gathering of enlightened progressive people.

the "syria civil war" thread is a hell-hole ( in the words of a mod )... the name itself "civil war" instead of "invasion and regime-change project" for the thread describes the ignorance of the thread starter... most posts in that huge thread are worth spitting on, for they are so anti-human and vile that if i had been the armed leader of a gathering where those posters stood, i would have myself shot those posters in the head, twice.

o reader, how do you want pdf to be??

I think you expect too much good from humanity.

You need to chill man and come here without communism in mind and pockets someday I hope you will feel different:agree:

Most of above said is true though. Enjoy a nice pic
Muammar Gaddafi meets Bulgarian communist leader Todor Zhivkov in the Libyan Desert, 1984.jpg

that is the tragedy.

:blah: :astagh:

so inform us mere mortals of your grand list of progressive political activism across the world... i am sure obama and putin kiss your feet. :)

If i had the authority, I would let people to decide their own fate, rather then forcing the whole nation into a forced concentration camp. I would start by removing tin pot dictators like Assad or Kim Jong Un.

I wouldn't say that. The present world isn't exactly heaven. Still lots of injustice.
The problem with the socialist regimes of the old is that they were all borne out of revolutions where power inevitably concentrates with a few people. Human nature (greed) unfortunately means that such a world is still more unjust and sometimes just plain looney (like the Gaddafi guy) not to mention inefficient and corrupt. I believe that a new socialistic society would someday be borned and it would be run by computers.

Everyone is not meant to be equal, i believe the society has done injustice to many, but it has also given many incredible stories of inspiration.

Do you remember The famous scene from Dark Knight rises?

The-Dark-Knight-Rises-Climb.jpg

The society is the well, and the injustice provides the urge to climb up. The people succeeding in the attempt is deemed fit to rule upon the masses, who never even tried. If you bring in Socialism, there won't be any driving force for people to escape that pit, and that would be tragic.

is nanophotonics even practical or even needed??

And supporting an orphanage for physically disabled children from my business income. Family runs a free school for children of labours in our industry.

while at first glance one may say "salute", your snide comments and abuse against socialism makes one wonder if you doing this out of real human concern or something to brag about at page-3 parties??

in the other thread, you didn't prefer to reply to the farmer suicide by burning himself alive... do you have solution for that??

These, in the last 3 years.

Did i mention my role as an investment consultant for my friends and families? :D

"did i mention"?? no, you didn't... and from your tone, i suppose you advised the sultan of brunei himself.

but please do list the specific fields in which you advised.

what got me started on this was two ignorants from turkey, sinan and atatwolf.

Most of above said is true though. Enjoy a nice pic :cheers:View attachment 237310

i didn't mean all of them. :D

Defence forums are places where differnt ideas clashes and discussion are about conflicts between nations which create such lovely atmosphere :D

"lovely atmosphere"... i beg to disagree. :)

Excuse me Mr. Rondoo , but I am highly nationalist Non-interventionist and I hang out in both Turkish and Iranian corners... and the Arabic corner I think. So I don't fit into this category of yours.

1. hence my question to you if you had connection to turkey. :)

2. okay.

:o: that was harsh...:tsk:

but true. :)

If i had the authority, I would let people to decide their own fate, rather then forcing the whole nation into a forced concentration camp. I would start by removing tin pot dictators like Assad or Kim Jong Un.

dear fellow, i asked you if you are engaged in progressive political activism anywhere in the world. :)

is nanophotonics even practical or even needed??

If you looked up in Nature journal, then you wouldn't have asked this juvenile question. To put in short, Nanophotonics is now that, what Nuclear Physics was in the 30s.

If I did that to brag about, I'd have preferably donated to 'Peta', click some pictures with abandoned animals, and girls with high level of estrogen would go 'Awww'.

For farmers, I have already proposed crops insurance against erratic weather pattern in previous discussions, and river linking project to end dependency on monsoon. Given that the reason for most of the farmer suicide is private lenders, a strict law has to passed to curb on them.

dear fellow, i asked you if you are engaged in progressive political activism anywhere in the world. :)

Why do you have to? Do you think a Greek will agree to your bailout proposal? Get rid of the complex that everyone has to take your suggestion to manage their mess, or you hold the key to their salvation. People living there would know much better, just as USSR collapsed under the feet of it's citizens.

What if you are a malnourished, poverty stricken young boy/girl whose parents only source of income came from the begging bowl? You can neither climb up the 'societal well', without proper food, no shelter, no school, no education and no knowledge or any means to know about the incredible story of the billion-dollar heir - Bruce Wayne's struggle against crime? How many such people are there in India alone? You are one of the 'lucky' few - and by luck I don't mean to tarnish your hard work which got you into an American university; but how many of your compatriots even had a chance?
There is no need for a pit. IF we use the Earth's resources judiciously, there is enough for all peoples. Hard work can be for some actual productive uses like your own research or maybe for some creative purposes too. Einstein and co. were motivated by their curiosity of the mysteries of universe and simple joy of discovering, rather than climbing ladders. Don't you think?

Didn't I already mentioned equality on nutrition, education and health care? I guess that solves much of your 'What if'.

Would you support an unknown 28 year old healthy educated man, sitting in his home, and working on an imaginary product designs, crying for injustice in this world but never bothers to step out and work for it, works on high school projects and lecturing and asking people to drop out of college, out of your own salary?
