Pakistan Becomes Majority Middle Class Country

I don't care where it came from, just saying this is definitely trash.
The definition of poor in india and pakistan is too stupid to believe what middle class actually is.

Go out in street and look around and then honestly say that pakistan has 55% middle class.
I won't say the same for india,,,if we take proper living standards,,not more than 10% indian population will be middle class,,probably the numbers will be same for pakistan looking at HDI and per capita income numbers.

No need for dick measuring.
Nope, more than 30% of Indian Population comes under Middle class according to UN's decided value.

Middle class is a very broad definition.
Just like high net worth is. You could be worth 500million USD and be considered high net worth, or someone who is worth 2 billion USD. Both are rich, but one is poorer than the other, but both are classed as 'high net worth'

well in every category.....but for example if you want direct comparison with India, then we need to look at the same group........you cannot compare the % of people earning 1$ a day in India, with those percentage earning 2$ a day in Pakistan. Both have to be either 1$ or 2$.
No comparison with India, but In India the poor limit is around 26 rs a day I think which is 0.5 cents the person is considered poor and Middle class is about 50$ a day In 2013. The world poor limit is 1$ a day. BTW I was just wanting to know :)

Which again is trash.
India itself defines poor at per capita money spent on food as 30 rupees approx:mad:
Yup UN Limit is 1$ for poor and India's in 26 according to 2013 maybe now its 30. and that 30% is according to the UN

Good.

Pakistan will be becoming like Turkey. Fate of both Pakistan and Turkey is same and together.

Which takes me to next argument.

As pakistan's currency is even weaker than india and inflation higher,,u guys will suffer in numbers when calibrated against international currency rates like dollar.

In nutshell no need to debate on a useless topic,,our people are too poor to even have this debate.

Yup UN Limit is 1$ for poor and India's in 26 according to 2013 maybe now its 30. and that 30% is according to the UN

So tell me what can u eat with rs 30 per day??
Not to mention there is no definition on clothing, transport and shelter.

These are numbers made for just distributing freebies to people. The lower the limit the lesser the people receiving aid.

Guys, don't reply to Indian's negative attitudes. He-man's bad posts were already removed.

Just reported the posts as you can.

Ok so the % of Middle class has increased according to Pakistan's decided value.

That is not Pakistan's definition; it's the ADB and World Bank definition. Based on this definition, Pakistan's middle class is much bigger than India's as percent of population:

Pakistan has continued to offer much greater upward economic and social mobility to its citizens than neighboring India over the last two decades. Since 1990, Pakistan's middle class had expanded by 36.5% and India's by only 12.8%, according to an ADB report titled "Asia's Emerging Middle Class: Past, Present And Future.

The charts you gave me are according every nations set limit, So you can enjoy being happy with it. Go out right now look out in the streets how many real middle class you find ?? Real Middle class earns - lower middle class : 500$-9000$ a year , Middle ones 10,000-30,000$ a year After that its upper middle class

So tell me what can u eat with rs 30 per day??

Read the ADB reports. Hope it'll dispel your ignorance.

Its my assumption and i am a real indian troll too.
On topic both india and pakistan are dirt poor with india performing marginally better than pakistan. But its almost the same.I have seen far too many people dying in hospitals due to lack of treatment resulting from monetary difficulties to come to this opinion.

Our people are probably some of the most poor and unfortunate beings on earth and i say this today with utmost sincerity.
Its a curse for a poor person to be born in subcontinent.

If you haven't lived in Pakistan for the past 15 years, it's kind of hard for you to say how it has changed...

The lower class still forms 45% of the people but the middle class has grown significantly...Also, Pakistan has slightly more equal distribution of wealth compared to india. That makes the poor of pakistan slightly better off compared to the wealthy of pakistan compared to india.

But otherwise, you're correct it's a curse to be born in subcontinent. Infact it's curse being born outside about 750 million or so of the better countries.

slightly more equal distribution of wealth compared to india

Its the other way around.
There are no land reforms in pakistan till date.

Apart from that u are correct.
