if religion had any role in it then jews would get slaughtered like pigs all over the world…don't you think??
don't tell me that you also believe muslim immigrants in europe and america are planning to take over the west as well? lol
@WebMaster what kind of professional is this clown?? i really feel sorry for america if you are in any way associated with any of our law enforcement or security agencies..
the only role religion plays here is that palestinians get above average sympathy from us because they are muslims.
You are delusional if you think the Palestinians-Israelis conflict is somehow unique.

People from all over the world, with their own histories of conflicts, recognize <religion/land/blood> feuds when they see it. The only thing that stands between the complete annihilation of the Jews as a people is a perception of immorality of genocide, of which the Jews themselves knows very well hangs by a thread. If ever genocide can be justified, they will be the first, if not among the firsts, of all peoples to be targeted.

look 50 years into the future….. when kids are taught in history about this conflict… israel will be the same as nazi germany..

@Jaanbaz whats the reasoning behind your vote?

My reasoning is common sense. Doesn't matter what you and I think about Israel. Israel is here to stay for the time being at least. So a peaceful two state solution is the way in my opinion. There are 50+ Muslim nations and only one Jewish nation. Do Jews don't deserve to have a nation too? Although I believe Israel should have been somewhere in Europe, possibly in Germany.

no body deserves anything… you earn it.
just because there are 50 + muslim nations there should be a jewish nation as well? how does that make sense? how is that logical? is it our fault that more people became muslims then jews?

Jews earned it. Right or wrong. They struggled for Israel. They fought and crushed advancing enemies from all sides. You have to give credit to Jews, they are a very resilient people. Something which we Pakistanis could learn from.

I don't think that's earn. Rather turning Hitler towards God or converting the whole Europe to judaism.

there is nothing such as bane israel, it has long gone, but yeah israel can exist peacefully with new geographical definition and throws weapons, how can they demand right using force on poor people?

no israel should not have been created, but it has right to exist peacefully in the region now, you can't throw back israelis who were born on the land they occupy now

it sure didn't ,your point is??
Place where a new religion is originated does not necessarily indicates majority will adopt the new religion. So is otherwise.

let me just give you one example my people the punjabis make up 50 percent of pakistanis population and we are all from punjab….
muhajirs or people that came from india make up around 15 percent of the total population the rest of us are all native to these lands…
Thats before Pakistan was split in 1971.

what does this have to do with the topic? aren't you supposed to be unbiased? you better change your name.. your ignorance is clouding your judgement.
Shooting the messenger!!! Anyways this was in response to the pics posted showing jews from different ethnicity.

yes it was… and your point is……?
Same reason why Israel was created.

  • Arab terrorists attacking the US.
  • In the end the US believes some issues must be solved by mutual agreement.
Why Arab terrorist don't attack Russia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, South american countries etc? When US take side of powerful aggressor and even make them more strong with billion dollar aids and protect their interests and defend their human rights violations and war crimes then they should not be surprise if they are the centre of hate of Arab terrorists. Unconditional support for Israel makes it easier for extremists to rally popular support and to attract recruits. Why has the US been willing to set aside its own security and that of many of its allies in order to advance the interests of another state? One might assume that the bond between the two countries was based on shared strategic interests or compelling moral imperatives but neither explanation can account for the remarkable level of material and diplomatic support that the US provides.
Have no figures at hand, but my guess is that Vietnam used up much more resource than Israel.

Israel has been the largest annual recipient of direct economic and military assistance since 1976 and is the largest recipient in total since World War Two, to the tune of well over $118,247 million. It is the only recipient that does not have to account for how the aid is spent which makes it virtually impossible to prevent the money from being used for purposes the US opposes such as building settlements on the West Bank. US gives Israel access to intelligence it denies to its Nato allies and has turned a blind eye to Israels acquisition of nuclear weapons.

Washington also provides Israel with consistent diplomatic support. Since 1982 the US has vetoed 32 Security Council resolutions critical of Israel more than the total number of vetoes cast by all the other Security Council members. It blocks the efforts of Arab states to put Israel’s nuclear arsenal on the IAEA’s agenda. The US comes to the rescue in wartime and takes Israel’s side when negotiating peace. This extraordinary generosity might be understandable if Israel were a vital strategic asset or if there were a compelling moral case for US backing. But neither explanation is convincing.

Among all the wars the United States had fought, Vietnam War is ranked 4th in casualties just below the Civil War and the two World Wars. Out of 2,594,000 personnel who served in Vietnam, there were more than 58,220 American dead and 153,303 wounded. More than 23,214 soldiers suffered one hundred percent disabled. Even when it already ended, the war continued to cost many American lives. It’s estimated that 70,000 to 300,000 Vietnam Veterans committed suicide and around 700,000 veterans suffered psychological trauma.

Economic Cost
In the entire war, the United States spent about $140 billion (worth around $950 billion in 2011 dollars) including $111 billion military cost and $25 billion economic and military aid to Saigon regime. At that rate, the United States spent approximately $140,000 for an “enemy” killed. However, $140 billion was only the direct cost. According to Indochina Newsletter of Asia Resource Center, the United States spent from $350 billion to $900 billion in total including veterans’ benefits and interests.

So the Vietnam war used much more US resources.

THE QUR'AN SAYS THAT ALLAH GAVE THE LAND OF ISRAEL TO THE JEWS AND WILL RESTORE THEM TO IT AT THE END OF DAYS

THE QUR'AN SAYS:

"To Moses We [Allah] gave nine clear signs. Ask the Israelites how he [Moses] first appeared amongst them. Pharoah said to him: 'Moses, I can see that you are bewitched.' 'You know full well,' he [Moses] replied, 'that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Pharoah, you are doomed.'"

"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]."

"We [Allah] have revealed the Qur'an with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you [Muhammed] forth only to proclaim good news and to give warning."

[Qur'an, "Night Journey," chapter 17:100-104]

God wanted to give Abraham a double blessing, through Ishmael and through Isaac, and ordered that Ishmael's descendents should live in the desert of Arabia and Isaac's in Canaan.

The Qur'an recognizes the Land of Israel as the heritage of the Jews and it explains that, before the Last Judgment, Jews will return to dwell there. This prophecy has already been fulfilled.
