Message to Vegetarians

Ha ha ha...
Madamji you could have quoted me directly, instead of suing me indirectly..:D:D
that's what I have said per kg need of water for potatoes, rice, wheat etc for growing and irrigation
whereas chicken need approx 40000 ltrs for 1 kg .( including water wasted on growing the food for chicken itself..).
and one thing more there is enough grains on earth to feed every mouth. so, it's not an excuse but I will give you point on weather conditions..in cold climate you need to store fat so eating fatty things are good.
Yea I could have but @BDforever had a point which I wanted to laugh about...

40kg of water? Seriously? Have you ever grown 1 kg of Spinach? No I am not talking about 1 kg on the field but 1 kg after cooking...it requires a lot of water.... :agree:

I am not against vegetarians...No harm in being one...But please give logical reasoning...

Vegetarians will have megaloblastic anemia, sometimes severe. Omega3 intake is also low in exclusively vegetarian diet, but it is very much finding in fish. Neither vitamin D is found in abundance in the plant kingdom, as well as iron, it is found in some plants (even spinach), but in small quantities and in more difficult shape than absorbable iron that is found especially in meat ( chicken, beef or fish, avoid the pig).

Iron in plants is not as efficiently absorbed as iron from animal foods. However, consuming foods rich in vitamin C along with plant-based iron sources can enhance its absorption. Vegetarian sources of iron include pulses, soy products, dark green leafy vegetables...

Purely vegetarian diet is contraindicated in pregnant women, nursing mothers and young children because they deprive them of important nutrients for the developing fetus or infant, predisposing to rickets, congenital malformations, abnormal growth, development of mental capacities, anemia so severe etc.

And then we have Vegans who literally are trying to kill themselves: Health effects of vegan diets

cant imagine life without meat........

I don't think there is even a single vegetarian in Assam unless it's for health reasons. At least I haven't met any. :D

Spinach, yes it's there in my backyard..
even in cooking it requires less water then what meat requires to cook..
megaloblastic anemia, sometimes severe- - no, not really.
and yes about Omega 3 is less in veg diet but again sesame seed has ample omega 3, which a veg can consume. why do you need vitamin D, isn't sun enough for us..Iron can be found in enough sources.banana, spinach(you need to watch popey the sailor.) etc...
I am against your growth of human due to lack of non-veg food..Veg food has enough nutrients and to keep both mother and fetus healthy. I am myself a veg and my whole family too. and I can tell you this doctor going rate in my family is at most is 1/year ..
and no body kill them self b'coz they are veg..
I am not against non -veg, people are free it eat what they want..

so nothing is mine...go reason with Nutritional researchers!

Ok, here..
1. do you bring in the live chicken and cut it and make it with your 1/4 cup of water.
processes meat are those meat which are ready to cook. packet wala ..:D:D
2. I am veg not every one around me in this world is veg. and common, do you seriously think I don't know how much water is required to clean a kg of mutton and chicken after buying from market( from butcher)
3.for cleaning and washing how much water you need, not more than a liter or two and for cooking 1/2 lit (for two to three persons)..

P.s . I am not asking you to stop enjoying meat..:lol:

I go to meat shop where live chickens are there, i choose chickens and buy them, then the shopper in front of me cut the chicken and wash them. So i still do not get it how the hell 400kg water requires for 1kg chicken meat, forget about 400kg, 40kg water claiming is totally absurd. Do you have any idea 400kg or 40kg means how much water ? I buy 2 chickens at a time which requires 2-2.5 kg water max. All i see you have no clue how meat have been proccessed LOL

May be that was true 200-300 years ago. Now, you won't even now it is winter dues to heated house, car and better clothing, unless you work outdoors. So, this is a lame excuse. Only reason why people are still non-vegetarians is taste.

If you had paid attention to what I wrote, then you wouldn't such a statement.

Notice I used first person in my post? I am not a meat consuming spokesman, I only spoke for myself.

And your assertion about heated house, car, etc doesn't apply to me. I have a vehicle but only use it when I have to move heavy loads or I have to travel long distance, otherwise I walk. I walk an average of 5 miles a day.
The temp in my house is hovering around 50 degree F. I do not turn up the heat like most people who live in the west. I do wear warm clothing.
When I refer to eating meat, I didn't only mean beef, pork and chicken. I also consider fish, pawns, crabs as meat which I prefer and eat.

So in order to keep me healthy and strong, I do NEED to consume not just veggies, but also meat.

I know you are not getting it..Try it for some more time you will get it..:lol::lol:
Ok..
suppose a chicken(baby) from day 1 start eating the food you give it to grow. Now the food you give to chicken will need water to grow + heavy fertilizers, which now require more water. A chicken to grow into a cock eat almost 20-30 kg of grains so
20(food)*2000(water to grow food)=40000 ltrs. + you need to keep clean all the places where the chicken lives and maintain all the standard. which means more water . then they drink also. + then cleaning and processing of meat.
now you will get it..
