The Problem of Urdu

So what do you expect from us? What should we do? We shouldn't produce such Mythological cartoons simply because they are being telecasted in Pakistan and few of the Orthodox Pakistanis are having some issues with them?

It's being produced in India for the Indians. It's not our problem if it's being telecasted at your place and you don't like it. If you are so much worried, ask your government to make some stricter rules on the ban on Indian products or the least you can do is STOP your children from watching them. But please don't complain here on a forum that our Cartoons or our Movies are NOT worthy enough.

These Cartoons are Meant for ORTHODOX Indian Hindus NOT for Orthodox Pakistanis.

simple .

and yeh we are opposing these cartoons its our right and you are just trying to shy away from accepting the truth that these cartoons are based on hinduism

Sir our cartoons are based on messages but in these type of cartoon characters itself based on god its weird what you teach your children that your gods are full on tharki.

NO they dont show that part of hunuman when he was kid.

Complain and moaning is all they do. In another thread they will blame arabs for terrorism in pakistan.
At personal level they can stop watching it and collectively they can force the cablewalla to stop broadcasting it.

And by some convoluted pakistani logic, telecasting hindu epics / cartoons is wrong (not secular). Some of them are not bright enough to understand secularism, but quite a few of them just pretend they dont know. :)

1. cartoons with hindu names are not an issue. cartoons depicting hindu gods and teaching hinduism is.

2. Arabian nights did not teach religion.

3. Sindbad does not teach Islam.

4. as we do not expect one year old recit Holy Quran in the same breath we dont want small kids to be exposed to reciting hindu mantras in garb of cartoons.

You are wrong, I have seen episodes of Alif Laila(Arabian Nights) it contains lot teaching of Islam, like in one episode I saw about the holy water of Zamzam. The Good guy seeking the help of Allah against the evil.

And guys stop replying on this thread, these Pakistanis just need some excuse to demean us.
Why are we trying to prove that our Cartoons are all good and worthy?

We know, those cartoons were for us and we enjoy them.
If some outsider doesn't, it's not our problem because it wasn't even meant for him.

So stop replying and proving your point because the more you reply, these Pakistanis will get something more to point fingers on us. And in the end, we are simply bring dishonour to our own culture, religion and country.

Relax sir drink water calm down  and please check your BP  your blood is blowing i can feel heat :D

Radha kirshan and krishna balram etc etc....
what's wrong in showing 'love', as long as it is depicted in a way that children can understand. :)
some say even tom and jerry shows violence. Haters will hate. lol.

So you are comparing your gods wid tom and jerry :woot:

So according to you a kid watching Ben 10 and Pikachoo...Doremaon... Pokemon (all alien characters) is better than watching Bheem and Hanuma characters... that are more connected to our world.

Yes of course .. At least they don't have any religious character in it ..

mate. Just relax. They are not attacking us, rather they feel being attacked and we are just trying to say.. 'dont worry, all izz well'. :)
Its not the quality but the content they are worked up about, especially their kids learning and imitating it. I would say, its just passing fad, they have all the time to teach their kids the values they want to teach.

Can you elaborate your theory of secularism ??

i think ar rahman should stop composing songs like kn faya kun, and haji ali and maula maula. should stop mixing religion and entertainment. pakistan should stop mixing religion and politics. india should not release cartoons mixed with religion. common ingrdient is religion. so throw religion and everything is alright.

btw.. zaid hamid is pure entertainment, politics, crime and religion. stop him someone.

Ok. If you say so, I accept these cartoons are meant for Orthodox Indian Hindus. But how does it matter to you? Are you an Indian? NO, so how can you raise a voice against the cartoons!

If you really want to oppose something, oppose the telecast of these cartoons and not the cartoons. Because that's not your right.

And yeah these cartoons are based on Hinduism BUT they don't portray hindu beliefs, rituals, tradition and not even the values. But again the same question, how does it matter to you? Even if they portray these things, it shouldn't bother you because it wasn't meant for you, though I agree it should bother some people but that should be only within India.

I dont have any personal theory which is different from what is practiced around the world. There might be slight variation in the way it is implemented in India and france, but basic premise is same: separation of religion from state.
At individual level, you are allwed to profess your own religion. A muslim in India does not become less secular by teaching his religion to his kids or trying to teach the same to others. Infact its one of the rights.

no, they cant oppose its telecast as there are a few million hindus in pak and its for them. they should stop their kids from watching if they can. we should encourage these and put more dharmic teachings and save them.

Kuch bhi? Few millions! LOL :D
And even if they were (as you say :P), Pakistan is an Islamic country, so baaki logon ka wahan kuch nahi chalta.

France is a secular country so why they banned Hijab and freedom of speech for Muslims .. Secularism implemented in France is limited to their own benefits so let's avoid talking about it ..

Broadcasting one's believe through cartoon is not right in any aspect ..
