You are patriotic but misinformed unfortunately.............
Indian history refers to modern history of the subcontinent(includes BD and Pakistan). For ancient history , you either say Hindustan or Bharat. Though Bharat is the older term, I prefer Hindustan because it is better documented.
The word Hindustan was first described in the Rig Veda, written in 2100-1900 BC
Himalyam Samarabhya
Yavadindusarovaram
Tam Deonirmitam Desham
Hindusthanam Prachakshate
Translation: "The country which starts from Himalayas and the borders of which reach till the Indian Ocean (Indu Sarovaram), has been created by Gods and its name is Hindusthan."

Yaar Pakistanis perform on bollywood songs even in their own Lollywood award functions:lol:

Bollywood is hard work, says Ali Zafar – The Express Tribune

He was sitting with his wife Ayesha Fazli while he watched clips from his LSA performance of “Madhubala”; he shook his head disapprovingly as he spotted some mistakes in the routine, acknowledging that the performance would have to be re-done for recording purposes after the guests had left.

The impact of bollywood is quite deep.

We celebrate this day as a mark of our independence and a new, self dependant start in the post-industrial revolution world.
This does not mean that you can deny us our roots.A tree is not judged by it's trunk alone; It's roots are also counted to determine it's age.
As for the language, Urdu was originally known as "Khariboli" a north western dialect of early Hindi absorbed by the Mughals, who interlaced it with the arabic and persian script, when relations were strong with them in the reign of Akbar. Even know linguistics classify Hindi and Urdu as a single language "Hindustani", due to it's historically, cultural and linguistic similarities. You can research on the wikipedia for further info.........

^^^^Also remember Christopher Columbus's voyage.....he set sail to find a trade route to INDIA in 1492(more than 500 years ago)......
He mistakenly landed in modern day America instead and thinking that he landed in India, he named the natives RED INDIANS as he was surprised to see that the natives had a slight reddish skin tone as opposed to what he thought the Indians would be)

Imagine how rich and famous was India back then that people from as far away as Europe risked their lives in unknown, dangerous seas just to establish a trade route to India.....
Too Bad....No-one tried to find a trade route to 'Pakistan'....even though they claim their history is 500000000000.....yrs old....

Wait till someone come up with the following....

Himalyam Samarabhya
Yavadindusarovaram
Tam Deonirmitam Desham
Pakisthanam Prachakshate
Translation: "The country which starts from Himalayas and the borders of which reach till the Indian Ocean (Indu Sarovaram), has been created by Gods and its name is Pakisthan."

Arabs are descendants of ismail son of ibrahim and they are just 4500 years old so its simply not possible that they use to jump and eat bananas 500 years before they were born.

I agree.

did you heard someone mentioned name "Pakistan" before 1947 , name "INDIA" "BHARAT" always facinated to west from thousands of years

In 300 BC name of india was Bharatavarṣa. I mean to say names are changed with time but the real thing is separate identity.

Who told you ? , you ruined my Funy post with your geeky but wrong infromation "Hindustan" this term coined by "MUSLIM Perisans" mainly used by Muslims like Mughal,Arabs its like Pakistan, Kazakistan, its coined after 7th cen. arrival of islam.

and in rigveda it's Hindu "STHAN" not stan but this term never used to refer india i know you read wikipidia some stupid joined both the things but its not same may be its derived later in 7th cen.

And Term INDIA coined by Original persians(parasi of todays india) it was in B.C time line greek,Roamns , even Alexander the great used word "INDIA"

and term "BHARAT" Came from KING BHRAT his timeline is unknown but a guess its 5000 years before , BHRAT was ancestor of LORD RAMA , so its before RAMAYANA AND MAHABHARAT

so remove ur stupid post no offence and my friend check infromation from reliable sources not from wiki.

:hitwall:

Bharatvarsha is same like Bharat. "Bharatvarsha" actually means "forever-existing Bharat"

Yeah and when British occupied this region, they also didnt call it British Pakistan (despite many claims that Pakistan has 500000000000000 years of history) . They called it British INDIA instead.

Then some people started calling this region the INDIAN sub continent, rather than calling it Pakistani sub continent. Yeh toh bahut galat baat hai

The point is it was not india.

The point is it was not india.

India word came into existence during Roman period in 1 century AD from Greek word "Inde" in 300BC. Megasthanes, the Greek ambassador to Mauryas even wrote a book named as "Indica."

So, basically, word India is also 2000years old.
