Don't forget that Pakistan is NOT a secular country and by constitution the PM and President have to be Muslims. So your question in itself is wrong and non-credible.

So basically all non Muslims are second class citizens. End of story.

No problem bro -

From the Quran

"O Mankind, We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you" (Quran 49:13).

This is the basis, you can have pride for your nation - as long as you do not discriminate or denigrate one another.

So, by this interpretation, castes are an acceptable part of nations and tribes?

No my friend, it is similar to what is in Israel, (your best friend's) where as only a Jewish person can be President or PM, because we are the only two countries founded on the basis of religious identity.

Many Hindus, Christian's, Parsi's, Sikh's and Athiest people have sought and received high office in the civil and armed forces.

If it is used not to dominate and keep others down, yes. Islam will not except that.

As you know I am a Shia, the main difference was after the Holy Prophet passed away (peace and blessings upon him) - there was a difference of opinion on who should succeed him - there is not that much of a difference - even today Sunni & Shia intermarry with one another, it is only the takfiri who are bothered about anything.

Well, first thing I am from Bhopal and a large no. of muslims both Shia and Sunni lives here and they don't get along very well.

Secondly, you might be able to explain the following.

Sectarian violence in Pakistan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and yes they are patriotic just like Muslims in their native countries so why bharatis be on fire if such a statement came from Pakistani Sikhs.

.

Because they cant digest the fact that there are people who would never want to live in "superpower" india

Anyways its not just him that thanks God that his elders stayed in Pakistan, but all 180 million Pakistanis who thank God that they are not indian. :agree:

Sectarian violence is the preserve of the takfiri, even today - in Pakistan some of the biggest ta'zīya that are taken out in procession in Muharem are paid for by rich Sunni businessmen, Sunni's are also big believers and followers of Imam Hussain.

and similarly 1.2bn indian thank god that we dont have to share the country with the pakistanis

Great answer. Not so brave when facing the facts, are we?

It was good answer to your trolling. Our prime minister and president are Shia and if I am not mistaken we have the second highest number of Shia's in the world.

He stated a fact the Quaid was a Shia, so was Benazir Bhutto, and so is Mr Zardari, they are facts are they not.

I don't care what indians think or about india. This thread is about a Pakistani Sikh who is happy that his family decided to stay in Pakistan not go to "superpower secular" india
