What's new

China - Uighur teenager handed death sentence over ethnic riots

Where was your vaunted brotherhood then, TrMhMt?
We are not hypocrites. What were we before? we are the same right now. We were helping and sending aid for Palestinians and others, we are doing it right now. dont wory about it ....

As personality, I was boycotting Israel(Israeli products) and i am doing the same thing right now !!

Your behavior is a crime's behavior, do you know? btw. This argue is over for me.

The people who caused an ethnic riot deserve punishment, and I LoL when indians are suddenly interested in Muslim rights, when they murder thousands in pogroms and in Kashmir.

China has a right to punish rioters who took the life's of innocents.

My Chinese friends can correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the majority of Chinese Muslims Hui people, who are very similar to Han people - the only difference being they are Muslim.

You are absolutely right.

The majority of Chinese Muslims are the "Hui" people. They are ethnically the same as the Han Chinese, and have an almost identical culture. The only real difference is their religion, and the fact that they don't eat pork.

They were/are in Turkiye. Nothing was different than now do not worry about that !!

Bro you are emotional and I can understand that, we are all saddened at the loss of life, both Han and Uigher - I know it's hard to think logically at times like this, but there was a breach of public order, innocent people were being murdered in the street, the authorities had to act.

Yes Hui is the majority muslim group in China. I grew in in Hebei (eastern China) and one of the counties near where I lived is named the Dachang Hui Autonomous County reflecting this diversity in the heart of China.

I remember clearly as a kid hanging out at nights with my uncles at a Hui owned and operated lamb kabob stand, while they shoot the sh1t with the owners.

Yeah, have met some of them in my travels, they are fiercely patriotic and are also indistinguishable from Han people, they also have some nice food, which is available for Muslims travelling in the PRC, as they have eateries in all areas of China. :china:

Unfortunately, there are not many "Chinese minorities" (Hui, Zhuang, etc.) living in Hong Kong. The Chinese population here is almost entirely Han.

The largest minority groups in Hong Kong are Westerners (mostly British and Americans), South Asians, and other East Asians.

We definitely need to encourage more Chinese minorities to come over here.

You should, and they will bring their delicious cuisines with them. Trust me lamb kabobs with cumin salt is fantastic.

This is making me hungry. :D

I love eating lamb Kebabs, and I hope I don't offend any vegetarians here lol.

To my Turkish friend. What the uighurs are to China, is like the same issue of the kurds in Turkey. You going to just let Kurds take southern Anatolia for kurdistan? I mean both turks and kurds are muslim. Right?

Can i answer it as a half kurdish?

We kurds do not want to separate southern Anatolia. Only pkk supporters want to separate coz they are not pure kurds. They are half Armenian.

And yes we kurds are muslims elhamdurillah but pkk supporters are not. They hate Islam and muslims coz many of kurdish houses and mosques have been burned up by pkk terrorists at southern Anatolia. My grand father took his family from Van(its a city which located eastern Anatolia) to Kayseri long time ago. He has saved his family's life from Armenian murderers during ww1. Some of my family's member had moved to Siirt(its other a city which located southeastern Anatolia) from van also. Pkk terrorists burned up their villages coz they wouldn't help pkk.

Now here is the differences of situation. think twice is it similar?

Turkish members you really need to look at it from unbiased perspective - China would do this to any other ethnic group if they try to harm national interest of China.Chinese don't look at traitors from religious prescriptive. They execute them regardless of religion of traitors.
