Pakistan: Man accused of blasphemy shot dead at court trial

Pity.... u cannot even differentiate b/w Ulma e Haq and Ulma e Soo
Yes...99.99 % of you are blind following the blind led by jahil..

You ulema...where did they get their ilm from? What universities or establishments. What formal islamic education did they have?...sorry because they speak arabic and say a few good words with Qandeel balouch on their lap doesnt make them an alim like your mufti qavi.

So go lecture someone who is stupid enough to follow these bafoons. I guess your peers are also your slims

In a sensitive society like Pakistan, nobody should be idiot enough to be claiming to be a prophet.

Having said that, these bunch of uneducated buffoons need to be controlled. They cannot go on their killing spree. Let the state institution do its job.

Blasphemy law has become a tool for many to get rid of their opponents or the ones who they have a grudge with.

See he would have to be mentally unstable. People in pakistan do not understand mental health at all

its clearly show he was mentally unstable person . koi pagal hi aysi baat on the record ker sakta hai pakistan main .
I think instead of trying to prove every blasphemer as a mentally unstable, you should clearly come forward and say that whether mentally stable or unstable, you want everything single one of them to go free --- don't do dramaybazi, just come clear.

The man had no health issues and he very well knew what he was saying + these cases must be dealt with quickly, either the accused is guilty or innocent, don't drag these cases just to please western *******.

U.S. urges Pakistan to act after American charged with blasphemy shot in court

JULY 30, 2020

ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - The United States urged Pakistan on Thursday to take action over the killing of an American national in a crowded courtroom as he faced trial for blasphemy.

Tahir Ahmed Naseem was shot multiple times at close range as he appeared in the northwestern city of Peshawar on Wednesday.

“We urge Pakistan to take immediate action and pursue reforms that will prevent such a shameful tragedy from happening again,” the U.S. State Department said in a tweet.

As Naseem’s arraignment began before the judge, a young man in the room pulled out a handgun and shot him in the head, officials and witnesses said. The young man was arrested on the spot.

On Thursday, supporters of a hardline Islamist group held a protest rally in Peshawar calling for the release of the suspected shooter, saying he had defended his religion.

The aftermath of the killing, captured on video and shared on social media, showed Naseem slumped over in a chair beside the judge’s bench, as other shackled prisoners, some with bloodied clothes, were taken from the room.

“The young man who shot him had no remorse, and said he saw the Prophet Muhammad in a dream the night before,” Latif Afridi, who heads the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, told Reuters.

Afridi questioned how the man managed to get a gun into the court given that all visitors are checked thoroughly at three different points.

“It is likely someone who can go without being checked, perhaps a police officer or a lawyer, handed the shooter the gun after he entered,” he said.

According to the charge sheet against Naseem, seen by Reuters, the American was in contact with a student at an Islamic school in Pakistan on Facebook and told him he was a messiah sent by God.

Naseem later met the student in Peshawar, after which police arrested him and charged him with a number of crimes, including insulting the Prophet Muhammad, which can bring the death penalty in Pakistan.

Here comes the sponsors ---- to the hell with american ******* and their side kicks.

its same like asia bibi case . supreme court say she did not commit Blasphemy but mullahs were burning the country and saying she should be punished . they should be happy that no Blasphemy happen but they want to hang her even she commit the crime or not . in fact these guys want Blasphemy.
Have you heard this man, you defending, saying that he is a messiah -- you heard or not won't make any difference, your types will declare them mentally unstable.

My response to all the people who say that killing was right...
Just ask yourself how would our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH would have responded to this.....
How can a person kill someone else and be a lover of our Prophet when our Prophet Himself said k 1 insan ka qatal pori insaniyat ka qatal hai....
When people of taif threw stones at our Prophet, did he kill them???
What about the lady who threw garbage at our Prophet... did he kill the lady???
ISLAM spread because of compassion and love of our prophet...
So guys grow up and be a good muslim

That does not allow you to celebrate/encourage the murder of anyone. Neither is "He did it first" ever a valid excuse.
I agree with you I become aggressive.

Another utterly false statement. Christians, Hindus, heck even Muslims have been regularly accused and killed under the name of Blasphemy. Please use an elementary google search to confirm this, I don't want to flood this thread with the list of cases.

punishes blasphemy (Urdu: قانون توہین رسالت‎) I am talking about this law only for ahmeedi , I agree with you, so many incident happen of killing chirstian n hindu in the name of heated ideology. But no one claim that hindu or chirstian did (قانون توہین رسالت‎) , some mulla misguided people to become famous and showing strength in order to killing innocent Pakistani minority people.
But ahmeedi guys try to convert some one then some one take blood in his hand.

I won't ban you for presenting references. You in turn have to promise that you will set aside your sentiments and hatred for Ahmadis/Non-Muslims and actually try to understand what you are being shown when I deconstruct those references. Deal?

Chapter 33 Verse 40.
Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.

Remaining reference after eid.
