"Hindustani language" : Indian propoganda on Wikipedia

that guy is a troll, but what you said is not true. The iron age occured in India long before Pakistan, and no indiginous pakistani empire has ever conquered significant parts of ancient india(modern day). On the other hand, the mauryans did rule ancient pakistan for several centuries. With that being said, i do agree gandhara is shared afghan/Pakistani heritage and indians cannot rightfully claim Gandharan heritage. As for panini you are right but if Pakistanis can admire tipu sultan and Aurangzeb, I dont see why indians cant look up to him. And i do not see any way indus civilization is superior to gangetic and dravidian civilization because they outlasted the Indus civilization and dravidian civilization actually predated the indus. And the ganges region is home to South Asia's oldest and most historically significant cities and strongest empires, along with the regions greatest mathematicians and scientists, not to mention ancient architecture that still stands today. Both Pakistan and India have glorious histories but its important for us to respect them and not claim each others heritage. If you are interested in ancient Indian history feel free to check out my threads. kudos.
My dear chap it is WE who cut down the trees that made up the Ganga forests (we were like really, really smart folk, knowledge of metallurgy, brilliant abstract concept of ZERO and many, many other achievements which I will not dwell on since I am a rather self-effacing chap) and once we cut down those trees we did a huge favour to the aboriginal inhabitants of the Ganga, we went out of our way to domesticate those primitive, feral, naked, banana eating, tarantula munching savages that were the ancestors of modern day Gangadeshis, folk like @Great Brahmin should show us some gratitude instead of hurling vile insults our way, the fact that Sanskrit and terms like "Sanatan Dharam" are being used by you folks only proves my point, we have ALWAYS dominated you intellectually, culturally and physically,,,this topic has been discussed to death by erudite folk like @Indus Pakistan and co, so excuse me if I call it a day.Kudos young fellow

Agreed

Rekhta is old Urdu. Hidustani, Hindi, Urdu are indeed one language.
Actual Urdu and Hindu are very different, what we speak on the streets is not real Urdu.

savage. They are well aware of this, if not then how do you explain baniya obsession with all things Pakistani?

I think you are talking about shusta urdu and pure sanskirat. Yes they are. But the language they call Hindi, is just another dialect of Urdu(with more Sanskirat words mixed). As Hindi includes more Sanskirat words, it becomes more a different language than Urdu. So, the base is Urdu.

You can shout all you want, the fact is you have few historical achievements compared to modern day India, That is why you feel so insecure whenever someone talks about Indian history, because you know you have nothing that compares to India. But I agree that it is never ok to claim someone else's history as your own, and both Indians and Pakistanis are guilty of that.

With all due respect your post was filled with so many inaccuracies I don't know where to begin. First of all the Gangetic plains is not a naturally forested environment, you are confusing it with central India. And India was one of the first places in the world to undergo the iron age. There have been copper and iron axes found in North and South India that predate anything found in Pakistan. You would know that if you read my threads. So if anything, we taught YOU metallurgy when the Mauryans successfully invaded you guys. No need to thank us. And in case you don't know, zero was invented by Brahmagupta, who was likely born in India and lived most of his life in Ujjain and worked under the Ganga-based Gupta Empire. And the part about you guys dominating us culturally, intellectually, and physically is just laughable. The entire world knows Indian culture, yet almost nobody knows about indigenous Pakistani culture. We have also created some of the world's oldest architecture that still stands today, and have also written the world's longest works of epic poetry. Not to mention the subcontinent's most influential and significant scientists and mathematicians came from the Ganges region. Also remember that you have never successfully invaded us, but we have invaded you. Of course you would know all this if you read my threads. It looks like you are insecure because you know deep down Pakistan has nothing in terms of historical achievements compared to India, which is why you feel a need to try and put down and disrespect Indian history. The ironic thing is you should support me, since I am a strong believer that what occurred in modern Pakistan is Pakistani history, and what occurred in India is Indian history. I have called out members who claimed others' history, including some Indians. It looks like you cannot accept the fact that modern India is home to some of the oldest and most advanced civilizations in the world, which is not my problem. Kudos.

glad you are admitting the truth

Well it depends on what you term as a language....if you mean lexicon makes a language then yes...but if you mean grammar and syntax then the resanskritized devangarized Hindi is the pretty much same as the classical Hindi (Urdu) (there are slight differences)...like if I started using more Latin/French in my English, some people might still consider it still to be English but just a "posh" version of it...

You have your view on your history, fair enough, but why do you use the word "India" or "Indian" to describe Bharat and her history. You say names are not important but also say that claiming another's history is not right. Well names are a part of history.

The fact that you claim you Ganga-dwellers came up with the brilliant abstract concept of ZERO which is one of the great human feats of intellect (alongside calculus and relativity) sums up how ill-informed you, i could easily refute you BUT guess what I will let you live in your ignorance, do not want to ravage your ego anymore than I already have .

Yet you are the ones who are constantly bootlicking our achievements ie IVC, Mehrgah, ZERO, Sanskrit, Rig-Ved, Kashmir......and the list goes on and on,,,,,,,ask yourself a simple question why is it that folk like @Great Brahmin shamelessly GO OUT of their way to try to create links (which in reality are non-existent) with coterminous Pakistan (And believe me Vishvamitra is not the only one), where as folk from here would feel deeply INSULTED to be linked with Ganga, this is the God honest truth, simply put you folks have an inferiority complex and try to ride on the backs of your SUPERIORS, the men of the Indus, the Indus which gifted mankind the ZERO:agree::agree::agree::agree::agree: not your damn Madya Pradesh

"Hindustani (Hindustani: हिन्दुस्तानी, ہندوستانی[a][6]), historically also known as Hindavi, Dehlvi, Urdu, and Rekhta, is thelingua franca of North India and most of Pakistan."
Everybody knows that the above names are old names of URdu , but what are indians trying to achieve by writing propoganda articals like this. I believe it,s a media warfare on nationwide scale that needs to be repulsed. i have encountered several user who were uploading these kind of propoganda video continiously on youtube creating a phscycological warfare to make other world believe that indian and pakistanis are same. Is it time that We should repulse this propoganda as nation, should we spend atleast a bit of our time from Facebook, twitter or PDF to take a look at those articals which are directly or indirectly connected to pakistan,s image, which will not only increase our knowledge about our history but we will also be serving our country? @Aeronaut @DESERT FIGHTER @Aslan @Spring Onion @RazPaK @pak-marine @farhan 9909 @Jaanbaz @eiaz 007 and all others
That is what makes me upset; this rewriting of linguistic history. Hindi is not hindi but a falagalore (hodgepodge); true hindi (listen to BBC Hindi service); you will not understand one word because of its sanskrit base.

We are doing more harm and distorting image of Pakistan then any Indians could ever imagine. Have you seen how Pakistanis behave over seas?
Let alone not teach urdu properly or when they bastardise it to the point 50% of the words being used are english.

First of all I am not Great Brahmin. I am not going to apologize for someone else's actions. If the Indus is so great, why do you feel the need to insult and put down the history of the Gangetic plains so much? that too with so many historical accuracies. As I said before, the zero was discovered by Brahmagupta, who was likely born in Rajasthan and lived most of his life in Ujjain and worked under the Ganga based Gupta Empire. And not just the zero, many of the world's most important mathematical discoveries were made in the Gangetic Plain, like the decimal system, the quadratic equation, the most accurate calculation of pi, the Brahmagupta formula, the most accurate calculation of a year, and the dates of eclipses.

Not to mention some of the most ancient works of architecture still standing outside of Egypt and China, and the longest most intricate works of epic literature in the world, and created two of the world's largest religions.
Also did you know the world's first surgeries were conducted in The Gangetic Plains?

Meanwhile what did your ancestors contribute? Nothing. The fact is your ancestors were a bunch of cave-dwellers who never created one indigenous Empire and got invaded by every foreigner to pass by, form the Alexander to the Kushans to the Mauryans, to the Mughals to the British, and have nothing to their name except some ruins. And guess what? We have ruins to , some of which are bigger and older than yours. The fact is you have little architecture to be proud of until the Mughal era, no literature until the likes of Iqbal Ali, who wrote in Urdu, a language developed in India. Not to mention, Indian culture and civilization has spread everywhere from Mauritius to Indonesia, and is highly respected around the world. Meanwhile, the only thing associated with Paksitan is terrorism lol. No wonder you guys have such a strong inferiority complex and hatred towards your superiors in the Ganges region who civilized you.

I had previously thought you would read the threads I have posted relating to Indian history and discuss the points I have made there civilly. It looks like you have not, so I willl take the liberty of posting them here myself. You should read them, you might actually learn real history for once.

If you notice on my history of Chattisgarh thread some idiot Pakistani starts trolling my thread and gets angry when I smack him. That is because even a little-known state like Chattisgarh has as much if not more history than the entire country of Pakistan. Anyway, I regularly post new threads relating to Indian history, so you should check them out if you actually want to learn history. I always appreciate input, even form dissenting views. Kudos.

Oh I see. Uable to counter any of my points in a civilized manner? It looks like your idea of debate is ranting about bananas and tarantulas. Let me ask you did you even bother looking at any of the links I provided or reading any of the threads I made? No, because you will realize just how badly you have lost this debate. And the sad thing is I agree with you that Indian should not claim Pakistan's history, because ours is so much better. And I actually respect Pakistan's history. I do not believe history should be a d*** measuring contest. But do you think I would read that garbage you posted insulting Indian history through inaccurate one liners and stay quiet? I am always up for a civilized debate, which you do not seem interested in. kudos

You fool I stopped reading when you started claiming the ZERO  :omghaha: that was an epic fail , shows how ill-informed you are, I presume your sources were Michel Danino or Om Swami , do not waste my time until you research origins of Zero and it is your homework for the day , I as your teacher can only take you to the well, cannot force you to drink, now as the good ol Brits say Ta ta young fellow,,,,,BTW I will not respond to you until you acknowledge the truth that Zero came from Ghandara and not from filth ridden Madhya Pradesh until then........
