Karachi violence: torture cell found in Yousuf Plaza

KARACHI: The Rangers continued their search operation in different violence-hit areas of Karachi including Baldia Town and FB Area, Geo News reported. During the operation, several arrests were made while an alleged torture cell was also found in Yousuf Plaza.

The Rangers sealed Yousuf Plaza in FB Area and during the operation, a torture cell was discovered on the ground floor of the building and tools used to inflict torture were recovered. Investigations to find information about the owner and tenants are underway.

Additional force was deputed near the plaza during the search operation.

According to the sources, twelve people were arrested during the operation while arms were also recovered from their possession and later they were transferred to an unknown location.

On the other hand, a search operation was also conducted in Rangarh Mohallah of Baldia Town and the entry and exit points of the area were sealed.

During the operation in Pehalwan Goth area of Gulistan-e-Johar, the Rangers destroyed pickets in a building and surveillance cameras that were used by the accused. The Rangers sealed the apartment building and the entry and exit points of the area.

Commandos also took part in the search operation along with the Rangers.

I have spent 22 years in court kacheri. I would still request everyone to stay away from courts as much as you can. Azaaad adlia, kaan puk gayay hain yeh sun sun kay.

I would like living in a country ruled by a dictator like musharraf rather than a country where people burn themselves in front of the supreme court

the lawyers movement promised fast and cheap justice to the public
but still people are killing themselves after getting disappointed by the judiciary
and still lawyers are going on daily strikes because of their petty issues and the people of Pakistan have to suffer the torture they face because of the judicial system

ok rangers,police, COURTS JUDGES all bad then who is good? ONLY MQM? where shall one go to find proof and get justice?

when rangers find torture cells in liyari it is correct when they find one in YOUSUF PLAZA it is fake! and when army says MQM is innocent then its hero but when it does operation against mqm terrorists its army of devils! when mirza says things against MQM fanboys say go to court!

& please MUSHARRAF is the biggest example of urdu speaking rise to power! please don't start the "deprived card" because if deprieved is the problem then stop saying karachi contributed 60% of GDP because clearly means karachi urdu speaking people are working hence generating 60% of GDP. People quote musharraf being urdu speaker and got top position in army. There are many examples including my dad and numerous relatives. Mush era was the only era in which rights of urdu speakers were not deprived. So you can see the result in shape of development in karachi. It goes for everyone, take the examples of begalis, balochis etc. They were crying for their rights, now balochis want talks and want to be the political mainstream. We should not give chance to anyone to pick weapon for his rights. You keep a person hungry and if he steals roti then hang him. No doubt that some criminals do take the advantage as well, but you cannot pain the entire city with same deprived. So you can see the result in shape of development in karachi. It goes for everyone, take the examples of begalis, balochis etc. They were crying for their rights, now balochis want talks and want to be the political mainstream. police is mostly punjabi sindhi & pathan
it is almost impossible for an urdu speaking guy to join police without money and political affiliation

Urdu speaking have low earning jobs but they don't work as labour workers because pathan labour is much cheaper
