There are a lot of other mosques as well in Israel. If they did want to destroy "all" mosques, then you can raise an alarm. But if this was deemed illegal (constructed on Illegal land) then why do you want to give a communal flavor to it?

So if you build a mosque in the middle of a National Highway, will that mean no one should touch it?

The 'mosque' was built illegally on a public property. So it HAD to go. Simple. No ifs and buts here. There are laws to be followed, and people in many countries, surprisingly, follow them. There are LEAs and LEOs who see to it that laws are enforced. Not unlike some countries where the writ of the state is openly challenged by half educated religious zealots.
