This is the recent case against Bahria Town in which Malik Riaz agreed to give 450 billion rupees which in USD are 2.8 billion dollars. Now this is just one case.

Zaradri has wealth which far exceeds that of Malik Riaz. Zardari owns Surrey Palace, has Hyde Park Penthouse, owns most of IPP's in Pakistan, owns Sugar Mills, has done land grabbing all over Sindh, has significant properties in UK, France, USA, Europe, China etc. So how can Zardari have 5 billion dollars only as some posters here are suggesting.

I don't think you realize what $30 billion is. The entire annual budget of Pakistan is $55 billion or so, of which half goes for debt servicing and defence. Where do you think he will loot so much from. Whatever we talk, lets talk sense.

The budget for the province of Sindh this year is roughly $10billion and it has been about the same for the last 11 years or so during which Zardari has been in power. Cumulative budget of $110+ billion. Then take into account Zardari himself was president for 5 years and had access to entire treasury of Pakistan. Then also factor in that he had free hand when his wife was PM to loot and plunder. To give you an example Malik Riaz was given massive tracks of land at throwaway price by Zardari in Karachi, the land is so valuable that MR agreed to pay roughly $4 billion for it just as a fine to Supreme Court. Now imagine how much bribe he would have paid to Zardari just to acquire that land.


Therefore, that is why they always say to increase your knowledge before running mouth. Ok?

Because people forget a very famous saying , give me the first million the rest of 99 million would take care of themselves.
It means that once they start to amass the stolen money and invest it, the investment would make more and more money. They have invested the looted money, which even if it is $5 bn at the start, over the years it would easily turn in to $50 bn after 2 decades.
Remember, the American writer wrote that Nawaz in M2 motorway and other corruption made over 480 million in early 90s. When invested that money over 3 decades itself would be few billion dollars.
For its sake consider this in early 90s I bought a house for £129,000 that house would be worth close to £2 million now (I don't own it now, it is gone, I am way poor now). This is to give you an idea that properties worth far far more now all around the world compared to what they were worth in 90s and 2000s.

People don't realise that Zardari gave that land to become partner with MR. it is not for free or MR to make money, it is for both of them to make money. $4bn would be paid to Pakistan after SCP deal may be less than 10% of the profit. Considering Zardari must have cut a 50% deal with MR before giving him land for BT Karachi. The Share of Zardari in BT Karachi alone would be far in excess of $20 bn.
Zardari is also a shareholder in Baharia Icon and Baharia tower too.

At best they are offering 10% of the loot. For Pakistan, the money is already stolen, put their whole family behind bars for the remaining of their life, once they realize that the stolen money is not going to help them they will come to their senses. Setting them free after taking 20/30 billion will not deter such crimes in the future. Destroy their lives to set a precedence that stolen money, no matter how much is not worth the loss of freedom.
