Pakistan is free enough to self critique on television. Clearly Saudi Arabia is not evolved enough to understand this concept. It makes my blood boil how weak Pakistanis are in this world that they let this happen. Some Pakistanis are cheering here over this but don't understand Indians and others behind their backs are sniggering and laughing at this utter humiliation.

The fact is that neither army nor establishment care of him un patriot acts in mask of patriotism, tho I am against of lashes punishment as the numbers is un Islamic and inhuman.

As per the reports zaid was arrested for hate speeches against Saudi which were given in pak..hey what is this !then why did they give him permission to visit their country? And after giving permission they arrested him like this..This is highly unacceptable .Pakistanis if they have any self respect should go to any extent to free him..but the question is can beggars be choosers?

I have no love lost for him, but his arrest and sentence is unfair. If KSA had objections on his ideas and views they should have denied him the visa. Allowing him visa for pilgrimage and then arresting him for his words which were not said inside KSA is unfair. He did not criticize KSA in side the country, which does not make it a chargeable offence, if it is an offence to criticize government stance and act.

This is height of injustice and tyranny.

On a serious note, despite the looney that ZH is, if the Saudis did permit him entry into their country purely to arrest him then that is an injustice of the highest order.

You know I hope one day Pakistanis have enough dignity to not let their own be treated this way in another country.

All he does is go on TV and verbally massacre his opposition. He is just expressing his opinion. A tv personality, nothing more. Its not like he is orchestrating a coup in Saudi. This is no crime. He is part of free media.

How many saudi sheikhs have funded wahabi terrorist outfits in Pakistan and gone unpunished? This is the real crime.
