Did anyone of you watch Youme Shuhda event today on tv channels? I watched it and was a bit disappointed.. Also..it was tooo brief.. I think Youm e shuhda's show of previous years was better.. there were better segments and doumentaries..in previous shows...Also the songs chosen, this year were not too emotional and motivating..otherwise in previous years..there used to be really good songs chosen for the event...

I talked to the director of the show, who said that only 40 minutes of the total 2 hours 30 minutes was seen on TV.
You cannot blame the director for what the TV has been showing...

Why was it so? I think ISPR gave only edited version of 40 mins of the show to television channels.. Bcoz earlier I thought tht even if other tv channels are showing briefly.. PTV would telecast the whole show...but even PTV showed only 40 mins.. Why did they put in so much effort and wasted time in this event 2 and a half hrs if only 40 mins of the show was to be telecasted on tv? Wasnt this show itself aimed for the general masses ? I mean I was soo literally disappointed at such a brief show.. I sooo wanted to watch the whole show.. Is there any way we can see complete show?

I dont think so there will be a repeat tomorrow..butt u can still watch the show few minutes later at 11:00 on PTV world

Because this is what they compromised upon.
It's ironic isn't it, the same channel that spreads hatred against Army by inviting Hamid Mir and Asma Jhangir also air shows that would create empathy for Army?

What about PTV? I thought atleast PTV would air the complete show

I just checked on ISPR website and unfortunately they have also uploaded only 40-45 mins of the program only like tv channels... Sad...
