The trend of advertising businesses as “Muslim-free” seems to be on the rise in the US: the owner of the gun store and shooting range in a small Oklahoma town has banned Muslims from patronizing his establishment, following in the steps of business owners in Tennessee and Arkansas.


Chad Neal, a war veteran who served in Iraq in 2003, has declared his business in Oktaha, Oklahoma near Muskogee to be a “Muslim-Free Zone,” taping up a notice on the front window of Save Yourself Survival and Tactical Gear reading that it reserves the right to “refuse service to anyone.”

Neal says he took the measure in the wake of July’s shooting at a military recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in which Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez shot and killed five people before being killed in a gunfight with law enforcement.

“I didn’t want any terrorists, or Muslims, cult, whatever you want to call them, training on my gun range,” Neal said. “There is a military recruiting station in the mall in Muskogee, and I thought this was one thing I could do to help protect our local soldiers.”

Neal and his fiancée Nicole Mayhorn claimed they established the ban to protect their clients, who they said may feel insecure being at a gun range alongside armed Muslims. The couple added that they don’t “tolerate terrorism” and don’t “support or condone those who hate our country.”

"This isn't about religion, this is about safety. There's other gun ranges around the country that have done the same thing and we're a little behind but we're trying to follow in suit as well," Neal told the NY Daily Times.

The owners say their customers welcomed the ban, noting that they are “feel[ing] safer.”

Many in the US, of course, have criticized the move as illegal.

Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said comparing Islam to terrorism is “beyond ignorant” and said that the practice of banning Muslims from private businesses, which has gained steam in recent years, recalls the time of segregation in the US.

“There are clear laws that prohibit discrimination based on religion. This kind of thing is in violation of the US Constitution and the American spirit of respect for the rule of law,” Awad told USA Today.
CAIR has urged the US Department of Justice to launch an inquiry into the case, according to USA Today.


So far, Neal has refused to take the sign down.

“I know the Quran says about lying to infidels and killing infidels. I don’t want them practicing those religious beliefs on my range,” he said.

Countries around the world are taking preventative measures in an attempt to lower the chances of another radical Islamist terror attack taking place like the ones that claimed the lives of a dozen people in Paris, 3 people in Sydney, not to mention the thousands of Muslim terror attacks around the world, since 9/11.

Top Right News reported on how Norway has started deporting radical Muslims – which has resulted in a stunning 31% reducation in crime.

But even as the United States has done almost nothing to mitigate an attack on U.S. soil, countries like China have taken multiple steps to prevent attacks in their homeland.

So what is China doing? It’s declaring an all-out war to make sure Islam doesn’t take over, and never gains the strength to attack them. These new measures include:

– Female head-coverings are banned. Period.

Chinese legislators have repeatedly said that burqas “are not a national dress of Muslims.” And indeed, there is nothing in the Koran that mandates this. They’re justifying their new ban based on several other countries who have enacted similar bans, like Belgium and France, based on public safety concern.

– Men are discouraged from growing long beards

– Men with long beards are banned from riding public buses.

Chinese have suffered numerous terrorist attacks from both Muslim men with long beards, and also women — and men in disguise — wearing burquas that obscure both their appearance and suicide belts.

– Islamic restaurants are mandated to sell cigarettes and alcohol.

– And they must display them prominently. Any business owner who does not follow this order…will lose their business. Period.

The Koran calls the use of “intoxicants” sinful, while some Muslim religious leaders have also forbidden smoking. Some non-Muslim customers have been assaulted for even asking for these items in Muslim restaurants, or for merely requesting pork in a meal.

China is simply not tolerating Islam at all. They have seen what’s happening to the West. It sees what happened in France, throughout the European world, in Boston and even in Texas. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! They see it, and they’ve decided to stop any kind of political Islamic plague before it grows out of control.

It is very sad to say that Communist China actually learns its lessons, while we put our heads in the sand. It realizes, ‘Hey, Islam wants destroy us,’ and that Islam is political in nature, not just religious.

Then that should be enough. The fact remains that there will always be those of a regressive nature all across the world and there is nothing one can do short of mind control to stop such throught processes. Be it that of barbarians such as ISIS or that of the movie theatre shooter in Tenansee.
America has its fair share of inequalities and problems, but they pale in comparison to the rest of the world. If it was that bad here as people supposedly write about, then there would not be the steady influx of migrants looking for a better life here...which they usually get unless they themselves screw up. Compared to this issue of me being denied entry because I am a Muslim, I am still going to live and breath and be able to enjoy a hobby of guns at another accommodating shop. Far better than me having placed in my supposed home city in Pakistan where there will be glue put into my eyes and torture by power tools because of my ethnicity.


The fact remains however, that Muslims in the US havent done enough to speak out against ISIS. Its not about apologizing because those people are not of my belief. But it is about knowing the signs better than you or others in America and being able to stop it better. Yet, I see & hear closet ISIS support or justification within a growing number of US muslims who still roam scot free under the guise of free speech.

My younger brother is going to serve our country and hopes to be SF in the US army, yet had to face some douche-bag Imam who abused him right here on our soil for his choice to serve his nation. I tried to file a report against him with local L.A only to find them apathetic at his status as a imam of the local mosque.
Our political correctness is killing us, and leaving the doors open for future Bostons or Chatanoogas.

I don't know why i have a feeling that this is only going to get worse. It is fine you refuse someone service, but making it blatantly obvious that you are targeting one specific religion is simply non-sense. More will follow suite.....where is the Muslim resident suppose to get his firearms from, which he has every right to do so?

It is good to hear your brother wants to serve the nation, but just out of curiosity, i hope he has thought the whole of his potential 'career' thoroughly.
