Bangladesh is a pragmatic peaceful nation. We have any intention for jf17. Long term plan is Russian and Chinese advanced platforms. So we have to train with Russian and Chinese trainers. PT 6 primary, K8 medium, YAK advanced. Now BD air force had always experience with 3rd generation air crafts. We cant so easily switch to 4.5 generation ships. We must know how to operate first.

That is ridiculous. Please tell me what's the difference between 4th gen and 4.5 gen? BAF already has mig-29's which are 4th gen aircraft. So buying Y130 is not justified. I think someone in the military acquisitions department is planning to buy a merc.

With rise of economy there will be urgent need to protect that too. Right now no one is interested in BD. 5% world's poverty.

You are contradicting yourself. If rise of economy is the priority, then these super expensive trainers don't make sense.

JF17 is good deal for pak. Not for BD. We are getting these YAKs in 15 million $. JF17s are worth 30 million.
Our objective is to train for superior fighters. Why waste money on jf17. Not comparing jft with yak. Also these fighters are coming with Russian loan.

You can't even afford that Junk, currently you are operating Chinese J-7 BGIs which are upgraded junk, please throw them away too.

Even BDs Mig-29s can't handle JF-17s because it is NCW capable and they call it junk. wow.

F7 BGI is well serving our purpose. I will throw away the Mig 29s instead

An indian blog ! Great man.. Did you check out the replies by Pak posters ? JF is produced n used by a professional airforce like PAF known for its high standards... As for 30 mil .., price just went upto 35 mil with BLK-II. Can pretty much bang everything you got in your inventory.

How can u build..? Building something locally need time,expiremence, technology and facilities.. no need to confuse BD has facilities.. but for exp and tech... ? BD dont even assembled ur back bone vehicles like BTR80 and still order from Russia.. So how can people believe the eord u said 'We can build anything. We just dont do it. Buying them are virtually free now.BD does have overhauling facility for BTR series APC's in country.And with the fulfillment of ongoing military dill with Russia, Bd will get a complete assembly line for BTR.
