Would India allow US to use military bases?

It sure is. It's only the Left parties who are against this. There's nothing to lose in allowing US ships to birth here. Doesn't mean it impinges on one's sovereignty!
but MEA confirmed that there is not any such talk taken place...

It india is not Japan s Korea or taiwan

and your point is???Militarily,Indian Armed Force is superior to Japan(mainly due to their Pacifist Constitution as well as present Size) and South Korea(Size).and if you count it as strategic location,India has land border with China, while others not.

Hello slaveboy!

gotta report your post.calling others "Slave" is against Forum rules.

Good news, US will soon get soft control over India as they have done with other allies. Now Indians can't blame other of being slave / puppets of super power as they are now ready to provide same facilities which many other countries provide to US.

how about radical change in uno... muammar gaddafi full speech in the uno general assembly, september 2009...

please also answer to my other questions.

Steps are being made which has led to reforms in UN in which India has played big role.

You mean Muslim born ?

China will have to give a substantial reason for not supporting indian membership.
India-china trade of billions which is in chinese favour can go boom in no time.

China do support India UNSC permanent seat bid.

This is only the beginning. Pres. Obama went to India and told Indian PM he better start siding with the U.S. in international affairs and put other pressure on them.

The header sounded like they are starting a new base all by themselves while in reality the literature talks about using the Indian facilities along with Indian armed forces in some places.

How much of truth , still not sure.

Oh you're privy to the talks they had behind closed doors are you? Please, the Indian PM in the press conference told Obama and the media clearly that India is an independent nation and won't be pressured by anyone.

at MEA press conference Mr jaishankar clearly told that LSA was not even discussed ..let alone India allowing use of its bases, ports .

That settles it for now .

How?

Without signing LSA, it is simply not possible. And India has always refused signing it.
