Whoa dude calm down. Its not because of the ICC. But due to the FACT that cricket is plain BORING. Lemme tell u how:
The batsman hits the ball. The balls takes an hour to reach/intercepted by fielder. If no runs or 4/6 happen then the fielder takes an hour to throw the ball back to bowler. The bowler drops the catch from fielder, takes an hour to pick it back up. Takes another hour to walk back to his run up mark. Then takes another hour spits on the ball and rubs it with a towel. Then he takes another hour to run and bowl. REPEAT.

Compare that with the constant excitement of the dribbling and ball possession and scoring in football.

Worst Ever Cricket World-cup 2019 in England & Wales in the history

As now nearly almost everyone now considers and confirmed - this is the Worst, Worst ever World-cup ICC event in the whole history of the cricket game. ICC past 10 years of bias, BIG 3 monopoly, dishonesty, match fixing cover-ups, lack of support to associate teams, investment and revenue mishandling have been totally exposed.

Reasons why ICC Events has lost interest and England & Wales has become the Worst ever World-cup in History:

1. Bad Umpiring - Umpiring is sub-standard, Incompetent Umpiring in WI vs Aus match, and through out the Worldcup, Pakistan-England 5 ODI series - Worst umpiring decisions
2. Rain has destroyed the world cup - inadequate preparations, no reserve days for rain infected matches - nearly 7+ matches in world-cup has been rain interpreted....frustrating. Full Out field covers not available.
3. Below standard facilities, ground staff looked poor, inefficient to start rainy games on time, stadium facilities and modernization lacked severely overall. Does not give an impressive look.
4. TV animations, poor tv statistics, does not show end results properly from 100+ runs - Needed runs in balls remaining, efficiently which keeps the interest going for fans. Field placing animation, video packages and angles is an excellent addition, Analysis is a great tool used during cricket matches.
5. Money saving tactics clearly seen, not enough ICC cloud seen on hosting England world-cup, Money has not been well spent to engage fans, mediocre opening ceremony,
6. Full of controversies in past 10 years - No cricket in Pakistan - failure of ICC - ICC third class cricket council has lost it at World cricket - teams like Srilanka, West Indies, South Africa and Afghanistan have lost it down - Afghanistan over media hyped is just a pathetic shit team at the best.
7. Lack of action by ICC - Biggest Aljazeera documentary on Australian and English players booking and match fixing, the England players ball tempering recent cheating caught red handed against 5 ODIs with Pakistan, Liam Plunkett, etc, using scuffed up ball. No court action or inquiry done from pathetic ICC.
8. Those match fixing English players should have been penalized like Australian, Pakistani and Indian players are penalized harsh.
9. Poor Commenting - Women commentators like Esha Guha is sleepy, slow - Women commenting has just made the Cricket worldcup so boring. Commentating is below par, boring, loosing interest.
10. Two white balls used, just killed reverse swing - interest in cricket is no more, due to all batting pitches.
11. Ticket allocation has been poor, 70% tickets given to Inda vs 30% to Pak, while Manchester is Pakistani home.
12. Revenue sharing, and investment has been extremely poor.
13. Just half way through Worldcup - 5 matches played and the World-Cup top 4 Semi finalists has been decided.
14. Overall ICC and England has been pathetic in management, interest, Cricket quality, one sided matches, less marketing impacted and destroyed World Cricket.

What do you think is this the Worldcup that has become the worst ever in quality, management, fan interest, umpiring, animations in the 200 year+ history? Can decline be saved? Can things change equally for everyone cricket playing nation?

Everything went downhill when they decided the Big three (India, Aus, UK) had the most power, even though they moved back from it, it still seems these big three control the ICC.

They have been punishing Pakistan, esp, unfairly since decades and taking out our great players like Saeed Ahmad.

its time to introduce AI instead of umpires. these human umpires are killing the sport. so many wrong decisions. there shouldnt be any umpires call thing. if the ball is hitting the stumps and any part of the batsman other then his bat has obstructed it it should have been given as out. get rid of this "half ball" concept. pitches should be of synthetic material equally tailored for both batsman and bowlers standard all over the world.

Like the ICC did not have reserve days for league matches but they did for the semis as well as the final, they should have a different rule for the summit clash in case of a tie. The emotional fans wanted both England and New Zealand as joint winners, but on a more pragmatic note, another Super Over should have decided the eventual winners. Some might argue that the semi-final match between Australia and South Africa in 1999 World Cup semi-final was also decided as a per a different rule – where despite the match being tied, Australia advanced into the finals since they had defeated the Proteas in the league stage. But a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and the ICC should have come up with a better rule to decide the winner of a World Cup final.

In a final when the stakes are so high, where millions of fans are glued to their television sets, it was a shame that the winner was decided in such a manner. The rule needs to be changed with immediate effect and we hope the ICC is listening.
