Normally I am a fan of yours but you are way out on this one!! Chaunsa is definately the best coming out of pakistan closely followed by Sindhri. By the by do you know any thing about Black Sindhri. Apparently the best mango in the world.

Can't say I have heard of Black Sindhri......however last time in Pakistan, the new variety I checked out was called...Toota Pari,

Oh man, you people know all these types, i just go for the best, THE MANGO!!.

When my father went to Kazan , russia, to get training for Mi-17 and bring them back, the russian translator present asked them to tell the second party to bring some new and good fruit with them, so as to know the uniqueness of Pakistan. They brought crates of Mangoes.

And nobody present there had ever seen what a mango looked like, nor had anybody tasted it before!!!. SHe took it home to show her children!!.

Now that is got to be some delicious mango!!

i have similar experience with pakistani style aam ka achaar .spiced mango pickle....they were russian hovercraft engineers sat in the dining hall and i opened a tub of ahmed ka achaar...the smell overwhelmed them and they asked me to give hem a try...that i did...and then my 1 kg achaar was gone i/ minutes....with russuans shouting "kharashoo kharashoo" all around me.

I have like few acres of mango orchards back in India. About 12 years ago, went to India in summer, spent all my time in the orchard eating mango and jamun?. I guess I ODed on mango and ever since have never touched it

^^^^^ 1/3rd of total mango of the world is produced in India so they have to be best...no offence but Pakistani mangos look digusting and mexican mango too
