I don't get this at all. Why isnt China giving money to Pakistan to take it out of the economic woes. Not trolling. This really makes no sense at all. Jingjing has everything to lose if cpec fails in paksitan. I thought they will do anything to make sure it doesn't. 30 bill USD is nothing to China but it would get pakistsn out of this situation once and for all. Weird.

Quite correct. Also, a way out for the gov't as they can shift the blame of the hardship caused by the bailout package conditions on the IMF & foreign powers.

When NS was sacked in 1999 $ 300 million were in state reserves and Pakistan was under international sanctions and there was labor ban in GCC.
Musharraf appointed Shaukat Aziz as finance minister and he turned the economy around, he got rid of circular debt and had set a plan to slowly get rid of loans.
Now when i look back, i only have bad words for the evil people who were involved in conspiracy to replaced Musharraf with Zardari.

It is simply like this: " You want me to lend you money; these are my terms; like it or lump it."

Financial institute should not be telling us whom shall be appointed air-force chief, who shall be interior minister and Hussein Haqani shall be ambassador to US. etc.
There conditions should purely monetary in nature.

I work for an IT company but defence and international affair is my passion....my comment was based on my reading, if you want to contradict it you may do so by proving how it was wrong..I dont mind if I hear that my source of information was wrong!

Most of this money goes int to the pockets of political activists.
How it's done,,, political activists are hired in PIA, Steel and similar loss making companies.
Some get Benazi income support checks. Some become govt. suppliers of pc, stationary, furniture, tea etc.
