Millions of KMT soldiers died fighting the Japanese invaders, please, forget about what uniform they wore and just remember, they gave their lives to the country, they were not KMT or CCP, They were just Chinese soldiers died defending their country and their people. They were just Chinese sons and daughters.

Many those "KMT soldiers" were actually CPC members who fought under the banner of the ROC, and other non-Chiang KMT factions were treated as the expendable cannon fodder.

Chiang and his faction still suck, they wanted to preserve their force and sent other factions to sacrifice. The real Chinese patriots cannot let them to steal all credits.

Bluntly put. CCP was never a main force fighting the Japanese during the war. The Japanese saved CCP, involuntarily of course, who otherwise would be wiped out by KMT. CCP just hid far in the west away from the main battleground in East China and built up its strength while KMT was tied down by the war and when the war was over, KMT suddenly found that CCP was just becoming too big to root out. CPC was the first who declared the war against the Japanese invaders who stolen our Northeast China, and where was KMT at that time? They still hesitated to declare war on those hungry land grabbers.

The US had no interest in China in the 1930's and early 1940's. About as much interest as you have now in Ukraine. If you and Japan wanted to kill each other we weren't fazed. We only got interested in helping you because Japan was creeping into Indo-China and cutting off some resources we needed to fight the Germans. We needed you as a buffer zone to keep Japanese troops distracted.

The reason why USA stepped in to help Chiang was because KMT at that time was pro-communism, and USA wanted to protect his interests even as little as now in Ukraine. Moreover, we know this was USA that defeated the Imperial Japan, but we also know this was the same USA that provided 80% of imported oil to Japan. Innocent life means nothing for American politicians. However, we never blame the USA for that because this was all about national interest.

In Beijing we have 赵登禹 street and 张自忠 street, they are just a few examples of those KMT generals who died fighting the Japanese . The government is still honoring them and the Chinese people won't forget their ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

Of course, most soldiers who fought under their banner didn't suck.

Most of them were CPC members or CPC members after the war, also many anti-Chiang KMT factions who later collaborated with CPC.

They were great, but Chiang and his faction always sucked. No wonder they got their a$$ kicked by the brave Chinese people.

Yes, these martyrs were the great examples of the brave KMT Generals.

But did they belong to Chiang's faction? Name me anyone great from Chiang's own faction. Spineless Chiang and his cronies should stop stealing the credits from their opposite KMT factions.
