I have to a lot of places doctor and i have found that humans are inherently selfish !!!!

Greed over conscience is the easiet way to pleasure
And poeple always want short cut

you are right people are selfish and want short cuts in life but remember there are good people also in this worls who sacrifices their whole lives for the welfare of others ...........
If we just correct ourself which we easily can then we can benefit thousands and they will get inspiration and they will try to change themselves and then this this circles goes .... may be it sounds difficult but not impossible

The big pharma companies have been and still are involved in some serious evil stuff. Taking advantage of uneducated poor people, making cheap drugs expensive through unethical patents, making vaccines to diganose people with the disease it was supposed to cure and what not !!!

Yaar a life of an American child or Pakistani or Indian child should and is the same. I dont know enough about the health structure in India but someone must be held answerable in sweeping this under the carpet.

Brother, the problem that not only India but the world is currently facing is the number of people who are falling behind financially when compared to the haves.
For example, if we take a cencus world wide you can see 10 Indians out of hundred being the richest in the world, in this same country there are over 42 crore who fall below the poverty line, Days to survive with the increasing cost of living in every part of the world is making people desperate for money.
India is rich to a few and poor to a lot and our leaders do not do what is necessary to bring the poor to middle class.
"Money is hear, but not accessible to who is in need of it",
We are the root cause for what is happening globally, when the cost of education for a KG child has increased to 50 k Rs, parents who can afford do not question the government why to pay 50 k, but pay, simply pay. this makes the life of poor more misserable.
when cost raise, we do not question, when petrol price raises, we do not question.
and this tolerance has contributed to the nations overall poor performance.
When the educated do not get properly informed about the Insurance policy they are signing up for, how come the poor know what they are signing up for, this exploitation is going on every were where there is poverty.

There is a saying "In the absence of light, Darkness prevails", when we who are educated, do not participate or agitate for the poor selflessly, there will be more such exploitations and chaos.

no one can compensate for life but after trials on animals and lot of research till it is proved safe in animals then you can start trial on human which is necessary before launching any drug on full scale in market ...... there should be a proper protocol for this and there should be proper law for this and without the consent of patient it can not be carried out ..

Wat u said is mostly true. don't say animals better say rodents/primates. Compensation in the sense if u get some side effects u may claim for that, bear in mind all the drugs r not fatal. For some incurable disease like AIDS, neurodegenerative disease u not able to claim compensation becoz u risking ur life with your full consent. In such case people want badly need drugs to cure their incurable disease so it best area to do clinical trials instantly.

Another criterion is doctor used to testify effective drugs for respective individuals ex if somebody has diabetes means they can't use any anti-diabetic drugs for treatment, some drugs will give gud results to someone but not to other it mainly depends upon genetic makeup ,metabolism etc. In that case doctors used to give some drug for some sort of time then he evaluate the results , if not positive again he will give test some other drug. During that passage of time u having high probability to get side effects its kind of domestic clinical trials but nobody knws abt that.

If u willing to undergo clinical trials u have the probability to cure your disease also.

The inhumanity shows by the US in pakistan tribal area where more than 20000 have been killed by the scary drones is the biggest crime committed after the genocide in former east pakistan. This is more appalling than anything else.

Praful - why are you off topic? Cant you handle the fact these USA friend of India is encouraging tests to be carried out on Indian children and nobody doing anything to stop it? Does it hurt you so much that you have to change the topic and attack Pakistan? Is this the way you passify your weakness? Can you not say anything on topic? It makes you look incredibly dim. Lets talk about how these animal pharmacutical companies are using Indians as guinea pigs for testing products - its a humanitarian disgrace - thats what this thread is about. Dont derail it.
