SU-35 will never be sold to Pakistan. J-31 is an option but in limited numbers. There are more chances of turning the JFT block IV into a smaller version of the J-31, than getting the J-31 in larger numbers. But FC-20, J11 and J-31 can become a reality if Pakistan wants. Russians are about 5 years away from selling you advanced Jets. Not even Mig-29's will be sold to Pakistan. Sorry!



India in inching VERY fast towards the third largest economy. Its just a few years away. With this new market crises, India's chances are even stronger. Right now, just in the US, there are close to 200K+ Indian students getting Masters and PhD's. So this massive talent pool every year will create the next generation of leaders to grow India. I just gave you an example of the US only, there are about a million other Indian students between France, the UK, Australia, Canada, etc. So this massive of an educational pool....there is no stopping to it.

And yes, if Pakistanis stick to the civilian system they have now and continue with peaceful, growth oriented policies, within the next years, Pakistan should be in the top 15 economies. 5- years after, it should be next to Australia or beat Australia

In my opinion, Pakistan should not ask for US defence hardware any more as they create lot of problem for Pakistan thanks to Indian lobby which is 24/7 working against Pakistan. It is good time for Pakistan to work closely with China & Turkey for new defence hardware & Pakistan should work hard to fix ties with Russia as India has shifted to US & this has pissed Russia.

PAF has its hands full inducting JF-17s and JF-17 Block-3s will probably start entering service in 2018. It is also very likely that Pakistan join the J-31 project formally for a JF-31 or JF-18. However the J-31 will only be able to enter service around 2022-4.
So PAF needs a stop gap medium/heavy weight jet fighter in between. The cheaper and easy way is more new F-16s, the complicated way is SU-35s and the fail safe if no F-16s or SU-35s is J-10B. The decision would be based on threat perception and so far India seems to be lagging way behind its induction goals and numbers. HAL is doing some major blunders in planning goals with its LCA progress as the MK-2 version will fly 2018-19 and enter productions 3 years later combined with lowered orders for Rafael would force InAF to cut down on its number of active squadrons. So I think PAF is doing right in going for more F-16s. PAF long term planing is very good.

yes the price of oil/gas/lpg is very low and getting lower but that can not cmpensate for falling exports and incrreasing imports.

One of the biggest reason, our imports are falling is because the cost to produce products is high because of energy shortages, once the proposed power plants come on line cost to Mfg products in Pakistan will fall substantially.

dont forget to polliticains who only care about money and not so much of theri own country.

the millitary shod have a proxy party which should govern the country. during millitary rule in pakistan,there was one of the world fastest growing economies in the world. it used to be transit hub (karachi) from north to south. now look at it. during the 60's karachi was a top destination now it one of the most violent cities in the world.

most polliticain in power suck money from the public. even kayani. i read that his brother or brother inlaw was involed in a fraud or something malicious. they did not dare charge him as he was directly related to the coas. dont worry its not just pakistan.

well i must admit . you really have a nice sense of humor. forget LCA and HAL for a moment .. and give a gentle thought to your air strength... if you still remember those second hand F16 with decades old tech flying in pakistani airspace then i must say we are in better shape.

You honestly believe Pakistan will increase the six of its economy by 6x in 10 years? Seriously.

India is already at rank 3 (GDP by PPP). unless you think the EU is a country. Then we may be 4th.
