When India lost 20 troops last June. Most of them die because of the elements. These are the stupid soldiers.
The smart Indian soldiers surrender. They have a better chance of survival vs staying in the Indian camp.

This is why they wanted peace with Pakistan. Pakistan should build the pressure after some time, so that they move back some of the divisions to Pak border again

the divisions moved were
1. mountain reserve division from east UP
2. infantry division from Jharkhand.
yes the 1 strike corps meant for ops in Punjab was converted (2 more divisions) to Mountain strike corps but it has a dual role aimed at BOTH Pakistan and China.
It can carry out massive and bone-crushing offensives against both China and Pak where required.
Thus no change in offensive power against Pak.
