Will Hasan Nasrallah be the next supreme leader?

There is no trolling here you moron since many Iranian considered this already
Iranis of todays Iran will die rather than accepting an arab as leader. Call me names, but this will not make you right.

I already know that

That’s why I said maybe as religious spiritual leader like the pope but not as political leader

I think the wali al faqih should be from any nationality but he shouldn’t have any political or military power just like the Iranian ayatollah sistani he is a big religious figure but he doesn’t hold any political or military power in Iraq

He has no religious authority.

Religious authorities are Marjah's and I don't know how it is in other Muslim countries but in Iran today people are free to chose their own Marjah's to follow as their top religious authority and to have a single Velayateh Faqih that's only a religious authority would basically be the same as either having a velayateh faqih that in reality has no religious authority OR abolishing the Marjah's & forcing a single Velayateh faqih on everyone and that is NOT going to sit well with people in Iran.

In reality Iran only has 3 options 1.The assembly selects the next supreme leader when the time come and leaves the position as is 2.They chose a council made up of experienced Military and civilian leaders to take up the duties 3.They completely abolish the position and hand all the duties to the president.(Not likely)

Not to mention the fact that anyone that is selected to be in that position is simply not going to accept to be a simple figurehead (I could be wrong but I believe that's what Rafzanjani thought he could turn the position into too...)
