Will Hasan Nasrallah be the next supreme leader?

From my Pinot of view the supreme leader position should be political only white the wali al faqih should be a religious position just like the pope

that was exactly what shapour bakhtiar (interim PM in the revolutions transition) wanted. he wanted khomenei and all the mullahs to go to qom, and serve a position similar to the pope. And pretty have them create an Islamic utopia there.

This view was/is violently rejected by the government. And its considered treason to even consider it. Its actually the position taken by many reformers/ and even some anti-government people who are not seeking the complete dismantlement of the current structure.

as far as the next supreme leader is concerned. If the government is smart they would change the position to a kind of council, with a semi-permenant/ rotating head. (something similar to china)

this strengthens the government enormously. Khamenei has built an enormous support base around himself that stretches into every sector of government. Any important department has a supreme leader representative who de-facto is more powerful then the head of the department.

Khamenei also has a semi-cult status among his supporters that would be hard to carry over immidiatly into another supreme leader (at least in the short term)

I cannot see how some mullah like a larijani can step in and have legitimacy among anybody. This would cause severe instability.

No SL! There maybe a supreme council of a few high ranking clerics that is largely ceremonial.

The next ruler of iran will be IRGC and a military council.

The age of clerics are over.
That’s correct

Many Shia clerics wanted wilayat al faqih rules by a council of clerics and not a singe cleric rule

.
they are both different so He cannot be come the leader of IRAN

. .
IRGC will rule, either indirectly or directly. Iran will open up to the west when IRGC rules.

Either that or we will see a new Iran war

I'm more inclined to believe this will happen. Simply, this is the political direction Iran seems to be going,

Indeed Larijani would cause harsh instability from the public. Larijani is not popular at all!

SL position will likely be abolished and it'll be Sepah and the President that runs the affairs of the country.

Sadly there are just too many rich and powerful Iranians like the Larijani's that would be against it! And Iranian secularist would of had a field day if a none Iranian was placed in the most powerful position in Iran and they would use him to rally Iranians against the government....

General Solaimani would also be a good leader for Iran but he would never be accept as a supreme leader due to a lack of a religious background!

The son of the current Supreme leader would also cause more trouble for everyone would claim that this is a dictatorship and a monarchy and a lot of Iranians will not accept that including a lot of the conservatives....

I honestly don't see many figures in Iran that can possibly fill that role but I would say the closest person to it is likely Sadegh Larijani (Head of Iran's judiciary) and I would prefer Hassan Nasrullah over him any day!

I'd rather have Nasrullah over him too lol. People like Hassan.

Who Jannati? He is too old! I just checked, the guy is 91 years old! Never gonna happen because he will likely pass before Iran's Supreme Leader who is only 79! And even if he doesn't the guys is too old
Told yea next to Vahid Haghanian ... third from the right.
