Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, said he would continue opposing the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, even if he had to take a bus to Pakistan.

Abdullah was mocking speech made by Bihar BJP leader Giriraj Singh, who while addressing a rally said those who criticize should go to Pakistan.

In an interview, Abdullah said he would continue to oppose three-time Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi even if he had to cross the LoC and go to Pakistan by taking cross border bus between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad. He added that opposing Modi does not make him any less Indian.

While addressing an election rally in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, Omar lashed out at the BJP saying, he would not need to go to Delhi or Amritsar to cross Wagah Border as J&K has Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service from where he would get a ticket to Pakistan. He said that he will board the bus if needed but he will not stop opposing Modi.

Nirmala Sitharaman, spokesperson of the BJP counter-attacked Abdullah by advising him to focus on governing Jammu and Kashmir. Sitharaman reminded the J&K Chief Minister of one more sarpanch being host dead in the state on Monday night. The BJP spokesperson affirmed that the party had made its stand clear on the statements made by Giriraj Singh.

The BJP President Rajnath Singh has reportedly censured the Bihar BJP leader for making irresponsible remark.

The comments made by Giriraj Singh had gone viral on the internet with hashtag #ModiSendMeToPak trending on Twitter on Monday as social media users exchanged jokes and took jibes at each other.

Giriraj Singh, who is contesting on BJP ticket from Nawada Lok Sabha, had said that those who want to stop Narendra Modi from becoming the Prime Minister are looking towards Pakistan and in the days to come, they will have to go to Pakistan as there will be no place for them in India.

A FIR was registered against Singh by the Bihar Police. When asked to clarify his remarks, Giriraj Singh said that he had not said anything wrong nor had he insulted Muslims. He added that his remarks were meant for those people who support Pakistan.

Not exactly. Congress mismanaged so many states. They were bullshit while crisis management. Shows us, how useless dorks were handling this country for past 10 yrs. Some reason we have got into such a mess.

Modi has handled Kashmir before and that too very well. I give him high marks in case of handling states.

Actually if he comes, we will deport him back. We dont like unwanted people, especially a politician. We have plenty of useless ones ourselves, which we want to get rid off.
