No such things like microwave hacking took place. At most there communication jamming and radar spoofing. Most of Iraq's stuff were only mechanical eg. tanks had optical sights and almost zero digital electronics, very difficult to jam them. The reason for quick US victory was that the high command of Iraqi army had been bought off by CIA, the troops were poorly trained and had not done any serious exercise since years and the fact that Iraqi army much like all Arab armies had always depended on foreign technical expertise to maintain and guide it and with this assistance having been gone after Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, the Iraqi army just could not perform.
